Reports to: Director of Team Resourcing
Hours Commitment: Full-time 40-45 hours per week (Monday-Friday)
Objective: The Hiring and Recruiting Coordinator manages LCBC Church's recruiting and hiring administration, including the applicant tracking system (Lever), Paycom, interview scheduling, pre-employment assessments, background checks, and job descriptions and postings. With a high level of efficiency and organization, this role supports the Recruiting and Hiring Specialist and Director of Team Resourcing, tracks hiring metrics, and oversees the employee lifecycle beyond hiring, including onboarding, transitions, offboarding, and exit interviews.

Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee and own the overall recruiting and hiring administrative processes in Lever and Paycom
- Coordinate calendars to schedule candidate interviews
- Ensure all pre-employment assessments, employment applications, references, and background check/clearances are completed during the appropriate candidate hiring stages.
- Maintain and update our applicant tracking software, its processes, and ensure quality and efficient utilization.
- Complete pre-employment assessment process including choice of assessment tools.
- Ensure job descriptions for existing roles are kept up to date as the organization grows, and roles change.
- Monitor and drive posting performance across various job opening platforms.
- Provide Assistant TR Director with all information needed to create job offer letter for new hires
- Continual review of applicants and hiring metrics and industry best practices to ensure we provide excellent and efficient recruiting and hiring experience.
- Assist hiring managers in developing effective job descriptions for new roles.
- Oversee new hire first week onboarding experience, role transition experience, new supervisor transitions, offboarding experience, and exit interviews.
- Create tickets to ensure smooth transitions in all the above scenarios
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy handling sensitive financial data;
- Solid working knowledge of ACA, COBRA, FMLA a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and HRIS/recruiting software
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex benefits information clearly
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage recurring deadlines.
- Education: Associate or bachelor's degree in human resources, Accounting, Business, or related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience: 2-4 years of hiring and recruiting experience preferred; experience with a hiring system (e.g., Lever, ADP, Paycom, Paylocity) preferred.

Evaluation
The Benefits and HRIS Specialist will meet regularly with the Director of Team Resourcing for planning, goal setting, progress updates, and general coaching. A formal Action and Development Plan will be completed and reviewed three times throughout the year.
