High Volume Recruiting Sourcer

September 15, 2026
Houston, TX, US
$60,000/yr

Overview

We are looking for a Recruiting Sourcer to join our Talent Acquisition (TA) team and play a critical role in building strong candidate pipelines for light industrial and manufacturing positions across the country. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys the hunt, knows how to find great candidates where others may not be looking, builds strong relationships, and creates talent pipelines in markets where skilled candidates can be difficult to find. The Recruiting Sourcer will partner closely with the TA team to identify and engage talent while helping establish our company as the employer of choice in each of our markets.

What You'll Do

  • Proactively source candidates for light industrial and manufacturing openings using job boards, resume databases, social media, professional networks, referrals, and other online resources.
  • Conduct creative and targeted searches to identify both active and passive candidates.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for frequently hired positions and hard-to-fill roles.
  • Develop relationships with businesses and employers in small towns and local communities across the country.
  • Identify organizations and businesses that can help expand our reach to potential candidates and generate new sources of talent.
  • Establish relationships with local employers, community organizations, workforce development groups, schools, trade programs, chambers of commerce, and other community partners.
  • Introduce our company and employment opportunities to local businesses and community contacts in a professional and relationship-focused manner.
  • Build a network of local contacts that can generate referrals and increase awareness of our job opportunities.
  • Research local labor markets to understand where potential candidates work, live, and seek employment.
  • Help establish our organization as a trusted and recognizable employer within the communities we serve.
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with community contacts rather than treating outreach as a one-time recruiting activity.
  • Share local market intelligence with the Talent Acquisition team, including competitor hiring activity, wage trends, candidate availability, and potential sourcing opportunities.
  • Work closely with TA Specialists and Recruiters to understand current and anticipated hiring needs.
  • Develop sourcing plans and pipelines aligned with recruiter priorities.
  • Deliver qualified candidate leads and maintain consistent communication regarding pipeline activity.
  • Collaborate with recruiters to refine search criteria and sourcing strategies based on candidate response and market conditions.
  • Help recruiters increase speed-to-candidate and improve overall recruiting efficiency.
  • Participate in recruiting strategy meetings and provide insights gathered from sourcing and local-market activity.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.
  • 2–3 years of experience in recruiting, candidate sourcing, staffing, business development, or a related field; experience supporting light industrial or manufacturing hiring is preferred.
  • Experience navigating multiple job boards, resume databases, social media platforms, and recruiting systems.
  • Strong internet research and information-gathering skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable initiating conversations with candidates, businesses, and community contacts.
  • Comfortable with outbound calling and proactive relationship development.
  • Highly persistent and resourceful, with the ability to find creative solutions when traditional sourcing methods are not working.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple searches and priorities simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working independently while maintaining strong communication with the broader recruiting team.
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred.
