About this opening
- Americare is seeking an experienced HHA Recruiter to join our Westchester Recruitment team. The Recruiter will be responsible for the full-cycle recruitment and onboarding of Home Health Aides (HHAs), with a focus on sourcing qualified candidates, conducting interviews, coordinating pre-employment requirements, and successfully moving candidates through the hiring process.
- Interviews and in-person training are primarily conducted at our Brooklyn office. This position also requires travel to other office locations, community recruitment events, job fairs, and other off-site recruiting initiatives as needed. Reliable transportation and/or the ability to travel independently are required.

What you bring
- 1+ years of Home Health Aide recruiting experience required
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- Reliable vehicle / willingness to travel to various office locations and recruitment events required
- Experience sourcing, screening, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding HHAs
- Working knowledge of HHA employment and compliance documentation; I-9, W-4, CHRC, HCR, pre-employment medical requirements, and HHA hiring best practices
- Ability to manage a high-volume recruitment pipeline supporting a minimum goal of 40 hires per month
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized, proactive, and able to independently prioritize competing deadlines
- Strong follow-through and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively toward individual and department recruitment goals
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Experience with Workday or a similar Applicant Tracking System (ATS) preferred
- Ability to work overtime as business needs require
- Ability to travel between office locations and attend off-site recruitment events on time and as scheduled
