Netic is the AI revenue engine for essential services who are the backbone of the American economy. With $43M in funding from Founders Fund, Greylock, Hanabi, and Dylan Field who led our Series B, we helped our customers book hundreds of thousands of jobs across services industries in North America. There are now companies operating entirely AI-first on Netic.
You’ll join our team with relentless builders from Scale, Databricks, HRT, Meta, MIT, Stanford, and Harvard in bringing frontier AI to the physical economy, where the problems are hard, the data is complex, and the impact is immediate and tangible.
What You'll Do
- Own full-cycle sales hiring: Drive sourcing close across Business Development (BDRs), Mid-Market Sales, Enterprise Sales, and Revenue Operations; you're the single-threaded owner of every search.
- Build outbound machinery: Develop creative, repeatable sourcing strategies to identify and engage top-performing sales talent, including exceptional sellers who aren't actively looking.
- Raise the talent bar: Partner with leadership to define hiring profiles, build structured interview processes, and identify the traits that separate good salespeople from exceptional early-stage builders.
- Sell the mission: Tell a compelling story about Netic's technology, market opportunity, and trajectory. Build relationships with passive candidates and turn initial curiosity into conviction.
- Instrument & iterate: Own recruiting funnel metrics, pipeline health, and conversion rates. Continuously refine sourcing strategies and hiring processes to deliver exceptional talent without sacrificing speed or quality.
What You'll Bring
- Sales recruiting pedigree: 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally within high-growth startups or top-tier recruiting agencies specializing in sales and sales-related roles.
- Sourcing excellence: Proven ability to identify, engage, and close exceptional passive candidates, particularly high-performing sales and revenue operations talent.
- Commercial fluency: Deep understanding of sales organizations, enterprise sales motions, and what makes a successful GTM hire at different stages of company growth.
- Builder mentality: Experience creating recruiting processes, sourcing strategies, and talent pipelines from scratch. You're comfortable operating without a playbook and thrive on ownership.
- Storytelling edge: Ability to articulate a compelling company vision, build credibility with senior candidates, and win talent against established, well-funded competitors.
- Data discipline: Comfort owning recruiting metrics, diagnosing funnel bottlenecks, and using data to continuously improve hiring outcomes.
Our Values
1. Obsess over the customer.
We obsess over our customers’ success and take their problems personally. Learn their business, understand the people who depend on them, and anticipate what they will need next. When a customer needs help, take care of their situation first. Recommend what will genuinely serve them, including when that means selling less or saying no. We make decisions with a twenty-year relationship in mind and keep earning our place in their business every day.
2. Every second counts.
Make the decision as soon as you have enough information. Decisions belong with the people who have the knowledge to make them. Focus on what matters most, remove unnecessary steps, and deliver improvements as soon as they are ready. When time is tight, narrow the scope while protecting the quality of what you deliver. We win with speed, and we measure it by how quickly useful results reach the people who need them.
3. Sweat the details.
Our customers notice every rough edge before we do, so the small things are the product. Develop deep expertise in your craft and sweat the details. Double-check the numbers. Test what you build. Read it again before you send it. Seek out people who make you better and put what you learn into practice. Keep raising your standard, and deliver work that holds up when people rely on it. Getting it to them when they need it is part of that standard. Cherish hard feedback, because you know it will make you better.
4. There are no blockers.
We stay ambitious when the path is unclear. When something gets in the way, question the constraint, test another approach, and do the unglamorous work needed to make progress. Reach across team boundaries and bring in help quickly. Change the plan as you learn, keep the goal in sight, and stay with the problem until it is solved.
5. Be self-directed.
We are a self-directed team that trusts each person to get the work done, and that trust places a higher responsibility on each of us. Know what you own, keep your word, and follow through without reminders; your teammates should be able to plan around what you say. When something goes wrong, start with what you can change rather than what was done to you. The same applies to your own life. This is a long race, so manage your energy and set your own boundaries. If you are stretched too thin, ask for help while there is still time to act, before it shows in the work.
6. Seek and speak the truth.
We put truth ahead of ego. If a fact is uncomfortable, bring it into the open, including when it is your own mistake. Be honest about what you know and what you are still figuring out. Speak up when work or behavior falls below our standards, regardless of title. Give feedback early, directly, and respectfully, with specific actionable examples. Receive the same candor with curiosity, and change your mind, your plan, or your behavior as you learn. Our ability to make good decisions depends on our willingness to tell each other the truth.
7. Enjoy the ride.
We love building and we want to win. There is real joy in solving a hard problem with people you respect. Bring energy to the challenge, celebrate progress, and give credit generously. Make room for laughter, especially on the hard days. We want to look back with pride in what we built and fondness for the people we built it with.
We believe fulfillment comes from producing your best work with the smartest people together in one room. All roles are in person in San Francisco, at our Jackson Square office.
