South West Georgia Homecare LLC seeks a Founding Director of Talent Acquisition to establish and lead recruiting across our growing organization. Initial priorities include screening founding executive candidates, coordinating structured interviews, and presenting qualified shortlists to the Founder & CEO. The role reports directly to the Founder & CEO during the executive search, then to the VP of Operations & Care Delivery once appointed.

Part-time, Contractor Remote (US) HR

What you will do

  • Review applications and conduct structured candidate screening interviews.
  • Develop role-specific interview guides and evaluation scorecards.
  • Coordinate executive interviews with the Founder & CEO.
  • Present candidate shortlists with documented strengths, concerns, and recommendations.
  • Confirm candidate availability and communicate approved compensation terms accurately.
  • Build recruiting processes for administrative, clinical, and caregiver positions.
  • Maintain accurate applicant records and timely candidate communication.
  • Protect applicant confidentiality and follow approved hiring procedures.
  • Track recruiting progress and identify hiring bottlenecks.
  • Support reference checks and offer coordination without independent hiring authority.

What you need

  • Experience in talent acquisition, executive recruiting, or senior-level candidate assessment.
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate leadership experience using structured interviews.
  • Strong written communication and professional judgment.
  • Experience managing applicant tracking systems and confidential records.
  • Ability to build recruiting processes in an early-stage organization.
  • Healthcare recruiting experience preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate remotely.
  • Willingness to work within the position’s disclosed compensation and time commitment.
