About Affinex Financial
Located in the vibrant city of Tucson, Arizona, Affinex is a rapidly growing financial services platform focused on retirement income planning, wealth management, and annuity distribution.
Recognized by Inc. Magazine in 2026 as the 48th fastest-growing private companies in the United States, SIM is building a premier national advisory platform. Founded by industry veteran Joshua Mellberg (who previously scaled J.D. Mellberg Financial to eight consecutive Inc. 500/5000 rankings and a successful acquisition by AmeriLife Group), Affinex combines deep industry expertise with a high-energy, fast-paced corporate culture. As we scale our national footprint, we are looking for competitive professionals to drive our expansion.
The Mission
At Affinex, we don't just plan for the future—we secure it. We are looking for a high-octane Financial Advisor Recruiter to build the teams that make these life-changing strategies possible. This is an assertive, sales-first recruitment role. You won’t be sorting through resumes of active job seekers; you will be proactively identifying, hunting, and landing elite, producing Financial Advisors and Insurance Professionals nationwide.
If you have a sales mindset, thrive in a competitive environment, and love the thrill of closing a candidate, this desk is for you.
The Role: What You’ll Do
Drive the Pipeline: Execute full-cycle, high-volume outbound recruiting strategies to attract licensed Financial Advisors, Annuity Specialists, and Insurance Producers.
The Hunter Approach: Aggressively source passive talent using corporate-sponsored tools including LinkedIn Recruiter, industry databases, and direct cold outreach.
Pitch the Vision: Act as the face of Affinex. Effectively articulate our value proposition, proprietary lead platforms, and the massive momentum of our Inc. 5000 pedigree to prospective advisors.
Overcome Objections: Confidently navigate conversations with high-earning professionals, handle objections regarding broker-dealer transitions, and move candidates efficiently through the onboarding funnel.
Collaborate with Leadership: Partner directly with executive leadership and regional directors to align talent acquisition with company revenue goals.
The Profile: What You Bring
Sales or Recruiting DNA: 2+ years of experience in high-volume agency recruiting, corporate talent acquisition, or inside sales. Experience recruiting financial advisors, insurance agents, or mortgage professionals is highly preferred.
The "Hunter" Mentality: You enjoy the phone. You are comfortable making 50+ outbound dials/touches a day to build relationships with passive candidates.
Financial Acumen: Ability to learn and understand the wealth management landscape, including annuities, life insurance, and AUM structures (we will train you, but you must have the aptitude).
Grit & Organization: Ability to manage a fast-moving pipeline without letting top-tier talent fall through the cracks.
In-Person Energy: This is a 100% on-site role in our Tucson headquarters. We thrive on collaboration, high energy, and shared success on the sales floor.
Why Join Affinex?
Uncapped Earning Potential: We reward builders. Enjoy a solid base salary of $60,000 with a lucrative, uncapped commission structure driving realistic first-year earnings over $120,000.
Elite Pedigree: Work directly under the vision of a founder who has raised over $4 billion in capital and built multiple Inc. 5000 firms.
Resources for Success: We don't expect you to hunt with a spoon. You will be equipped with premium sourcing tools, data, and marketing collateral to make your outreach effective.
