Senior Travel Healthcare Recruiter | 100% Remote | 1099 Independent Contractor | Commission Only
Heartline Staffing LLC is seeking experienced Travel Healthcare Recruiters who can immediately recruit qualified nursing and allied health professionals for active contract opportunities nationwide.
This is not an opportunity to learn travel healthcare recruiting. We are looking for established recruiters who already understand the pace, candidate expectations, screening, documentation, follow-up, and urgency required in travel and contract healthcare staffing.
Minimum 5 years of professional recruiting experience is required, including demonstrated travel healthcare or contract healthcare recruiting experience.

- Other travel and contract allied health professionals
What You'll Do
- Recruit qualified healthcare travelers for active contract opportunities
- Independently source, headhunt, and engage candidates
- Work your existing network and actively build new candidate pipelines
- Conduct thorough candidate discovery and screening before submission
- Verify licenses, certifications, relevant experience, availability, and position-specific requirements
- Discuss schedule flexibility, requested time off, start availability, travel expectations, and potential barriers to starting an assignment
- Evaluate whether candidates are prepared for the specific clinical environment, including corrections when applicable
- Prepare accurate, complete, submission-ready candidate files
- Maintain consistent candidate communication and follow-up
- Move quickly on active requisitions and time-sensitive openings
- Follow candidates through submission, interview, offer, onboarding, and assignment start
- Build relationships with travelers who can successfully complete assignments and return for future contracts
Independent Contractor & Compensation
This is a 1099 independent contractor, commission-only opportunity. It is not a W-2 position. There is no salary, hourly wage, draw, guaranteed compensation, or employee benefits.
Independent recruiters are responsible for their own equipment, sourcing tools and resources, business expenses, and applicable taxes.
Recruiting commissions are not immediate income. Compensation is earned according to the commission and payment terms outlined in the Independent Contractor Agreement. Recruiting activity, candidate sourcing, or candidate submission alone does not constitute earned compensation. Payment is subject to applicable placement, assignment, invoicing, client payment, and Independent Contractor Agreement terms.

Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of professional recruiting experience
- Demonstrated travel healthcare and/or contract healthcare recruiting experience
- Experience recruiting nurses and/or allied health travelers
- Full-cycle healthcare recruiting experience
- Strong sourcing and candidate headhunting skills
- Established methods for identifying and engaging healthcare travelers
- Ability to independently build and maintain an active candidate pipeline
- Strong candidate discovery, screening, and qualification skills
- Working knowledge of healthcare licenses, certifications, clinical experience requirements, and travel candidate documentation
- Ability to evaluate candidates against detailed assignment requirements before submission
- Ability to work quickly and consistently on time-sensitive healthcare requisitions
- Excellent candidate communication and follow-up
- Ability to independently manage multiple active requisitions and candidate pipelines
- Ability to recruit without basic recruiter or travel staffing training
- Comfortable working as a 1099 independent contractor on a commission-only basis
- Must be U.S.-based
