Job Summary
The Doctor Recruitment Program Manager (East / West) is a senior, results‑oriented recruiting leader responsible for driving the end‑to‑end hiring of specialist doctors across their assigned region at Specialized Dental Partners (SDP). This role owns regional execution—turning national recruitment strategy, programs, and pipelines into successful, timely, high‑quality specialist hires.
This is a hands‑on recruiting lead role, not a transactional coordinator. The Doctor Recruitment Manager acts as the regional quarterback—deeply involved in sourcing, engaging, evaluating, and closing top specialist candidates—while working cross‑functionally to ensure each hire is operationally sound, clinically aligned, and positioned for long‑term success.
The role is critical to achieving SDP’s growth plans and is measured by quality of hire, acceptance rates, time‑to‑fill, and post‑hire success.

Regional Doctor Recruiting Ownership
- Own regional specialist doctor hiring outcomes from initial candidate engagement through signed agreement and start date.
- Actively source, recruit, interview, and close experienced doctors and residents within assigned markets, leveraging SDP’s national recruiting programs and tools.
- Maintain deep knowledge of regional market dynamics, competitive landscapes, and candidate motivations.
Candidate Evaluation & Selection
- Partner with the Head of Specialty Doctor Recruitment on clinical vetting, specialty‑specific assessment, and final hiring recommendations.
- Collaborate with Operations and practice leadership to assess market fit, practice needs, ramp‑up feasibility, and long‑term alignment.
- Ensure consistent, high‑bar evaluation standards while moving with urgency and clarity.
Cross‑Functional Partnership
- Work closely with the Head of Doctor Recruiting Programs to activate and optimize residency, military, referral, and experienced‑doctor pipelines within the region.
- Coordinate with the Director of Doctor Engagement to align recruiting messaging with post‑hire onboarding, mentorship, and engagement strategies.
- Partner with HR and Talent Acquisition on compliant, efficient hiring processes, offers, and transitions to onboarding.
Pipeline & Execution Management
- Actively manage regional pipelines, ensuring high‑quality follow‑up, candidate progression, and timely decision‑making.
- Identify bottlenecks, market challenges, and execution gaps—and proactively propose solutions.
- Maintain accurate recruiting data and participate in regular recruiting reviews and forecasting discussions.
Employer Brand & Market Presence
- Serve as a visible ambassador of SDP in the specialty marketplace.
- Participate in regional recruiting events, residency interactions, and professional networks to build long‑term candidate relationships.
- Communicate SDP’s value proposition clearly: partnership mindset, clinical autonomy, growth support, and long‑term career opportunity.
Qualifications
Experience
- 7+ years of recruiting experience, including physician, specialist, or executive‑level recruiting; dental experience required
- Proven success recruiting hard‑to‑hire, high‑demand professionals across multi‑market regions
- Strong consultative skills with the ability to influence clinicians, operators, and executives
- Data‑driven mindset with comfort operating in structured recruiting processes and metrics
- High ownership mentality—comfortable operating in a fast‑moving, growth‑oriented environment
- Travel Required: 3-4 days, every other week

The salary range for this role is $130,000 - $145,000 per year.
