THE OPPORTUNITY

As Director, Talent Acquisition, you will lead and oversee day-to-day talent acquisition initiatives company-wide, ensuring Global Prairie can anticipate, attract, and hire the talent needed to advance its purpose and business goals as a fast-growing, 100% employee-owned, top-ranking B Corp. You will partner with Global Prairie leaders to translate workforce needs into annual recruiting plans, long-term pipeline strategies, scalable programs, and clear measures of success while also leading day-to-day recruitment for key roles. Working closely with the Manager, Talent Acquisition and other People & Operations leaders, you will connect strategy with day-to-day execution, remove barriers, and ensure hiring leaders and candidates experience a consistent, high-quality recruitment process. You will also serve as a senior advisor on talent markets, hiring decisions, and future capability needs while remaining close enough to the work to guide critical, senior or complex searches.

This role is ideal for a highly relationship-oriented recruiter who combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Serves as lead recruiter for complex, senior-level, confidential, or business-critical searches, managing full-cycle recruiting from intake through offer acceptance and supporting closing strategies as needed
  • Helps shape and support Global Prairie's organization-wide talent acquisition strategy in alignment with business priorities and growth plans
  • Partners with Function Leads and People & Operations leaders to identify current and future staffing needs, capability gaps, and hiring priorities
  • Designs, standardizes, and continuously improves recruiting processes, interview practices, candidate assessments, documentation, and governance
  • Evaluates and optimizes applicant tracking, sourcing, interviewing, analytics, and other recruiting technologies
  • In partnership with People & Operations and Finance leaders, creates annual recruiting plans, hiring forecasts, and long-term pipelines for critical talent segments
  • Establishes clear operating rhythms and ways of working with the Manager, Talent Acquisition to connect strategy, search execution, pipeline management, and internal stakeholder communication
  • In Partnership with People & Operations leaders, defines talent acquisition metrics, and leads the development of dashboards and reporting that showcase pipeline health, efficiency, quality, and candidate experience
  • Uses recruiting data and broader market data to identify trends, diagnose barriers, and recommend actions to leadership
  • Oversees talent acquisition partnerships with recruiters, vendors, universities, and other external organizations
  • Manages contractor, freelancer, Junior Associate and other strategic talent programs in partnership with People & Operations colleagues

Additionally, the ideal candidate meets these qualifications:

  • 10+ years of progressive talent acquisition experience across day-to-day recruitment and broader talent strategy
  • Demonstrated success developing and executing recruiting strategies aligned with business and workforce priorities
  • Experience advising senior leaders and influencing complex hiring and workforce decisions
  • Strong experience with workforce planning, talent forecasting, recruiting analytics, and process optimization
  • Experience recruiting in marketing, communications, advertising, consulting, professional services, or agency environments is highly preferred
  • Experience scaling recruiting functions and using platforms like BambooHR ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter, Metaview, Handshake, or related technologies

The expected compensation range for this position is displayed in accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. The final agreed upon compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including but not limited to: candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experiences and may fall outside the range shown. The physical activity required of this position includes standing, walking, lifting, pulling, pushing, kneeling, reaching, stooping, talking, hearing and use of repetitive motion. Light work is required of this position, occasionally lifting or moving objects between 10-20 pounds. The visual acuity of this position requires the ability to operate a motor vehicle. This position will not be substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
