Description
The Director of Talent Acquisition will serve as a strategic, senior-level subject matter expert in recruitment and talent development, leading key initiatives across organizational, team, and employee-level growth. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, leading full-cycle recruitment; partnering with leadership to forecast hiring needs and build proactive pipelines; enhancing employer branding and candidate experience; managing relationships with external recruiters and staffing agencies; designing and implementing training, leadership development, and succession planning programs; and assessing organizational needs to strengthen culture, engagement, and retention. Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for senior-level and specialized roles.
- Partner with leadership to forecast hiring needs and build proactive pipelines.
- Enhance employer branding and candidate experience.
- Partner with external recruiters and staffing agencies, establishing and maintaining strong relationships to support hiring needs
- Develop sourcing strategies to attract diverse and high-caliber talent.
Organizational Development & Training
- Design and implement training programs, leadership development initiatives, and succession planning.
- Partner with managers to identify skill gaps and provide targeted development solutions.
- Assess organizational needs and recommend strategies to strengthen culture, engagement, and retention.
- Measure effectiveness of training and OD initiatives and refine as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Communication, etc...
- Preferred: Advanced degree (MS, MBA, JD) with emphasis in Leadership, Psychology or Organizational Development
- 7+ years of experience in talent acquisition and/or development, with at least 3 years in a senior or strategic role.
- Preferred: Experience within the Professional Services Industry, with a growth-oriented Law Firm
- Proven experience in organizational development, training, and/or talent management.
- Strong business acumen & ability to align People strategy with organizational goals.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
