Position Summary

Under the direct supervision of the Human Resources Recruiting Manager, the HR Recruiter will apply a working knowledge of talent acquisition and human resources practices to support the organization’s staffing needs. This position will partner closely with hiring managers to develop effective position strategies, identify and attract top talent, screen and assess candidates, coordinate interviews, facilitate the offer process, and support candidates throughout the hiring process.
Location/Schedule: 175 Emery Highway, Macon, GA – Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute innovative candidate-generation strategies to build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified talent.
  • Partner effectively with hiring leaders to understand workforce needs, develop staffing plans, and establish recruiting priorities.
  • Build pipelines and targeted lists of passive candidates for critical and hard-to-fill positions through research, proactive sourcing, cold calling, phone screening, networking, and other recruitment strategies.
  • Generate a high volume of qualified candidates while meeting demanding timelines and recruitment goals.
  • Organize, manage, coordinate, and assist with the recruitment, selection, hiring, and onboarding of top talent.
  • Coordinate and assist with activities related to the employee separation process, as appropriate.
  • Schedule in-person and telephone screenings and ensure all required materials are included in hiring packages for manager review and alignment meetings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Human Resources, or a closely related field preferred.
  • One to three years of relevant recruiting and customer service experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, teamwork, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to effectively market and brand open positions.
