Job Summary**
The Craft Recruiter for Primoris Energy Services Corp is responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring skilled craft workers to support various energy infrastructure projects. This role plays a critical part in ensuring projects are adequately staffed with qualified individuals, contributing directly to project success and company growth.
Job Responsibilities**

  • Develop and implement effective recruiting strategies to attract top-tier craft talent, including pipefitters, welders, electricians, heavy equipment operators, and other skilled trades.
  • Utilize various sourcing methods, including online job boards, social media, industry contacts, vocational schools, and career fairs.
  • Conduct thorough interviews, skills assessments, and reference checks to evaluate candidate qualifications and suitability for specific project requirements.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from initial contact to offer extension and onboarding support.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, understanding their career goals and matching them with appropriate opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers and superintendents to understand staffing needs, project timelines, and skill requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records within the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Stay informed about industry trends, compensation benchmarks, and recruitment best practices.
  • Participate in outreach activities and community events to promote Primoris Energy Services as an employer of choice.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.

Job Qualifications**

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in high-volume craft recruiting, preferably within the energy, construction, or industrial sectors.
  • Proven ability to recruit for a wide range of skilled trades, including but not limited to welders, pipefitters, electricians, and heavy equipment operators.
  • Strong understanding of various craft certifications and industry standards.
  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment software.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites and career events as needed.
  • Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations.
