What You'll Do
Build Relationships & Attract Great Talent
- Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts for our skilled nursing communities, including clinical, operational, leadership, and support positions.
- Develop creative sourcing strategies to attract Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and other healthcare professionals.
- Build meaningful relationships with candidates, community leaders, schools, training programs, and recruitment partners.
- Create and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates to support current and future staffing needs.
- Represent Evercare at career fairs, hiring events, and community outreach initiatives.
Create an Exceptional Candidate Experience
- Serve as a welcoming first point of contact for prospective team members.
- Ensure candidates experience timely communication, transparency, professionalism, and respect throughout the hiring process.
- Conduct candidate screenings and coordinate interviews with community leadership.
- Partner with HR Directors and Administrators to help candidates transition smoothly from recruitment through onboarding.
- Promote Evercare's culture, values, and career opportunities through engaging recruitment messaging.
Collaborate & Drive Recruitment Success
- Partner closely with Community Administrators, HR Directors, and department leaders to understand staffing priorities.
- Develop proactive recruitment strategies that reduce vacancies, improve staffing stability, and minimize reliance on agency staffing.
- Support employee referral initiatives and other innovative talent acquisition programs.
- Monitor recruitment metrics, including time-to-fill, applicant flow, hiring trends, and recruitment effectiveness.
- Identify opportunities to improve recruiting processes, candidate engagement, and overall hiring results.
- Ensure recruitment practices align with applicable employment laws, company policies, and fair hiring practices.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications
- Previous experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or human resources; healthcare recruitment experience strongly preferred.
- Experience recruiting for skilled nursing, long-term care, or other healthcare settings is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for helping others succeed.
- Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems, online recruiting platforms, and social media recruiting.
- A proactive, resourceful, and results-driven approach to overcoming recruitment challenges.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with leaders across multiple locations.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to Evercare's core values.
