Summary

SENS is looking for an experienced Corporate Recruiter to lead full-cycle recruiting across corporate and engineering functions. In this role, you will work directly with hiring managers and executives to understand their talent needs, build and execute targeted sourcing strategies that attract passive talent, screen and qualify candidates, and partner with leadership to schedule interviews and deliver job offers. You’ll own the recruiting process from initial outreach through offer and onboarding, balancing speed, quality, and a positive candidate experience.

The ideal candidate brings a unique combination of strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a process-driven mindset, along with a genuine enthusiasm for headhunting and uncovering talent for niche, hard-to-fill technical roles. You know how to go beyond traditional sourcing methods, build relationships with passive candidates, and effectively communicate what makes our company and opportunities compelling.

Success in this role requires strong hiring manager partnerships, creative sourcing approaches, consistent communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while ensuring accurate ATS documentation and compliance with employment laws and company policies.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting across corporate, engineering, and technical functions, including sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, extending offers, and leading negotiations.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand talent needs, develop recruiting strategies, and serve as a trusted advisor by providing market insights, influencing hiring decisions, and constructively challenging expectations when appropriate.
  • Proactively identify, source, and engage passive candidates for niche and hard-to-fill technical positions using LinkedIn Recruiter, networking, referrals, career fairs, and other sourcing methods.
  • Identify and implement improvements to recruiting processes, workflows, and tools to increase efficiency, consistency, and the overall candidate and hiring manager experience.
  • Represent SENS at career fairs, networking events, and other recruiting activities to build relationships with prospective candidates and strengthen talent pipelines.
  • Independently manage and prioritize multiple requisitions, balancing business needs, candidate experience, and hiring timelines.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs, developing relationships with prospective candidates even when immediate opportunities are not available.
  • Effectively communicate SENS' business, culture, and career opportunities to generate interest and excitement among prospective candidates.
  • Deliver a positive candidate experience through proactive, clear, and timely communication with candidates and internal stakeholders throughout the recruiting process.
  • Coordinate interviews, gather feedback, and drive timely hiring decisions while ensuring a consistent and organized selection process.
  • Track and analyze recruiting activity, pipeline health, and key hiring metrics to identify challenges, improve sourcing strategies, and drive recruiting results.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records, recruiting activities, and hiring documentation within ADP.
  • Coordinate and complete pre-employment screening requirements, including reference checks, background checks, drug screens, motor vehicle record checks, and education verification, as applicable.
  • Process new hires and promotions within ADP, including pre-hire paperwork, onboarding tasks, and Form I-9 employment eligibility verification.
  • Ensure recruiting practices and hiring processes comply with applicable employment laws, EEO regulations, and company policies while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including managing multiple requisitions simultaneously across varying functions and levels.
  • 2+ years of experience recruiting for technical and engineering positions, and must include Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, and/or Manufacturing Engineers.
  • Demonstrated success proactively sourcing, engaging, and recruiting passive candidates for niche, specialized, and hard-to-fill positions.
  • Strong proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search techniques, professional networks, and other sourcing tools and strategies to identify talent beyond traditional job postings.
  • Experience managing requisitions and maintaining accurate candidate records within an Applicant Tracking System (ATS), such as ADP, Workday, Greenhouse, or SAP SuccessFactors.
  • Proven ability to build strong partnerships with hiring managers, provide consultative guidance, influence hiring decisions, and navigate challenging conversations professionally.
  • Ability to effectively communicate an organization's value proposition, build relationships with prospective candidates, and generate interest among individuals who may not be actively seeking new opportunities.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to independently manage competing priorities while maintaining accurate documentation and following established processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate recruiting challenges, adapt sourcing strategies, and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with candidates, hiring managers, and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Working knowledge of applicable employment laws and recruiting compliance requirements, including EEO, ADA, and other relevant regulations.
  • Ability to handle sensitive candidate and employee information with discretion and maintain strict confidentiality.
