About the Opportunity
Cable Dahmer Automotive Group is growing, and we're looking for an experienced, motivated Recruiter to join our corporate Talent Acquisition team!
With multiple dealerships across the Kansas City metro and surrounding markets, our recruiting team plays an important role in finding the people who keep our stores running.
We're looking for someone who enjoys a fast-paced recruiting environment, knows how to manage multiple openings at once, and is comfortable taking ownership of the hiring process from start to finish.
This is a great opportunity for someone with agency, staffing, or high-volume recruiting experience who's ready to bring their skills to an internal recruiting team.
What You'll Do
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for a variety of dealership positions, including sales, service, administrative, and operational roles.
- Partner directly with hiring managers across multiple dealership locations to understand staffing needs and hiring priorities.
- Proactively source candidates through Indeed, job boards, referrals, and other recruiting platforms.
- Review applications, conduct phone screens, coordinate interviews, and maintain consistent communication with candidates.
- Build and maintain candidate pipelines for frequently hired positions to support ongoing staffing needs.
- Manage multiple open requisitions while prioritizing urgent hiring needs and maintaining an organized workflow.
- Work closely with hiring managers to gather interview feedback, provide candidate updates, and keep the hiring process moving.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting activity within our applicant tracking system.
- Identify opportunities to improve recruiting processes, candidate engagement, and overall hiring efficiency.
- Represent Cable Dahmer Automotive Group professionally while creating a positive candidate experience.
What We're Looking For
- 1–3 years of recruiting experience, preferably in agency recruiting, staffing, or a high-volume corporate recruiting environment.
- Experience managing multiple job openings and candidates simultaneously.
- Confidence conducting phone interviews, evaluating candidate qualifications, and making hiring recommendations.
- Experience proactively sourcing candidates rather than relying solely on incoming applications.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned positions.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and recruiting platforms such as Indeed or LinkedIn.
Automotive industry experience is not required. We're more interested in finding someone with a strong recruiting foundation who's excited to learn the industry.
