SUMMARY

Responsible for the recruitment of corporate management and management support-level positions. Excellent computer and customer service skills, positive attitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment. A high level of accuracy and attention to detail is required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Includes the following

  • Effectively screen candidates against job requirements and professionally present candidates to hiring managers with written recommendations.
  • Coordinating, scheduling, and communicating between hiring managers and candidates pre and post-interview.
  • Participate in all management and management support level interviews.
  • Ensure all internal candidates are interviewed by hiring managers.
  • Assist Compliance Manager with AAP/EEO reporting.
  • Compile weekly status updates and reports on recruitment efforts.
  • Monitor job description changes and update as necessary.
  • Expertise and use of Applicant Tracking Systems and online recruitment databases for proactive candidate search.
  • Source candidates on job boards, resume databases, professional networks, and referrals.
  • Track recruitment KPIs, such as time to hire, source of hire, and time to fill.
  • Ability to present a strong employment value proposition to each candidate screened and recruited through the understanding of Triumph’s history, strategic direction and partners, benefit offerings, culture, and future opportunities.
  • Ability to enter new hire information, make employee data changes, posting and closing of positions, and disposition candidates. Gather all information needed to post open positions successfully.
  • Ensure that all candidates are communicated with in a timely fashion.
  • Maintain applicant records and files.
  • Provide daily support to the Employment Supervisor, including preparation of various business reports and materials requiring a high level of confidentiality. Work on special projects as necessary.
  • Initiate application and onboarding process in the HRIS system.
  • Make all travel arrangements for candidates and new hires.
  • Perform special projects as may be assigned by executives.
  • Identify and timely report problems or deficiencies with recommendations for resolving them.
  • Ability to travel, if necessary, to a variety of recruitment site locations.
  • Maintains good communication and interpersonal relations with various departments, personnel, local plant, and business people in the community regarding recruiting functions.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all applicant information and that of the Recruiting and HR departments.
  • Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree required in business relate field.

KNOWLEDGE

Strong experience with HRIS systems / previous experience required.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS

PHR or SHRM-CP preferred

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Possess the skill set to effectively communicate with others within and outside of the Company. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of candidates.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents in the English language, such as files, handbooks, and collective bargaining agreements. Must effectively communicate with applicants, production employees, and management/management support personnel. Bilingual skills are a plus.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to apply mathematical applications to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Ability to use computers and all standard programs used by the industry, including Microsoft Office, and learn and effectively use any and all other computer programs that are or will be made available, including the ATS in the HRIS system. Must be proficient at sourcing online recruitment databases, utilizing social media, and seeking referrals.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to move about the facility. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
