Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Corporate Healthcare Recruiter with three full-cycle healthcare recruiting years of experience. This position will recruit for clinical, medical, administrative, operational, and leadership roles across the organization.
The recruiter’s primary areas of focus will be substance use disorder treatment, mental and behavioral health, and dialysis services, although recruitment will not be limited to these specialties. The ideal candidate has strong healthcare industry knowledge, understands applicable hiring and credentialing requirements, and has a proven record of filling positions within established timelines.
This role requires an effective sourcer who can identify and engage both active and passive candidates. The recruiter will also use AI-powered tools to improve sourcing, candidate outreach, recruiting efficiency, and hiring outcomes while maintaining human oversight and protecting candidate information.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment cycle, including intake meetings, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offers, and pre-employment activities.
- Recruit for clinical, administrative, operational, corporate, and leadership positions.
- Focus primarily on roles within substance use disorder treatment, mental and behavioral health, and dialysis services.
- Source active and passive candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, applicant tracking systems, job boards, professional associations, licensing databases, referrals, networking, social media, and direct outreach.
- Develop recruiting strategies and candidate pipelines for high-volume, specialized, and difficult-to-fill positions.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, required qualifications, licensing and certification requirements, compensation parameters, and hiring timelines.
- Screen candidates for relevant experience, education, credentials, licenses, certifications, availability, and organizational fit.
- Use AI-powered recruiting tools for sourcing, candidate matching, outreach, scheduling, market research, and recruiting analytics.
- Review AI-generated results for accuracy, relevance, fairness, privacy, and potential bias.
- Maintain human oversight throughout the hiring process and ensure AI tools are not the sole basis for employment decisions.
- Track open requisitions and adjust sourcing strategies to meet established time-to-fill goals.
- Maintain regular communication with candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
- Coordinate background checks, reference checks, license verification, exclusion screening, drug screening, and other pre-employment requirements.
- Negotiate and extend employment offers in partnership with Human Resources and department leadership.
- Maintain complete and accurate records in the applicant tracking system.
- Track recruiting metrics, including time to fill, time to hire, vacancy aging, source effectiveness, candidate conversion, and offer-acceptance rates.
- Ensure recruiting activities comply with applicable employment laws, healthcare regulations, privacy requirements, and company policies.
- Represent the organization at career fairs, professional conferences, networking events, and community recruiting programs.
