Job Summary
The City of Fort Collins is replacing its core systems for Finance, HR, Payroll, and Budget with a new enterprise platform, and several members of our Human Resources team are dedicating significant time to that work. We’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to keep our recruiting running smoothly throughout the transition.
This is a limited-term position expected to last three years with the possibility of extension depending on project needs. You’ll step into an established role, working alongside recruiters and hiring managers who are partly focused on the implementation. That means you’ll be relied on to run the day-to-day process with care and consistency: posting positions, coordinating interviews and screenings, preparing offers, and being a steady, welcoming point of contact for candidates.
We want to be honest that this role sits in the middle of change. Some of the tools you’ll use when you start may be replaced before you finish. If you’re energized by learning quickly and staying grounded while things shift around you, this is a rare chance to see how a public organization modernizes from the inside, and to build experience that will serve you well wherever you go next.
The Coordinator works under the direction of the Talent Acquisition Manager and collaborates with Recruiters, Hiring Managers, HR Business Partners, candidates and other internal partners to coordinate hiring activities and support effective recruitment outcomes.
