The Outreach and Recruitment Coordinator plays an active role in supporting recruitment, outreach, events, facilities, and day-to-day operations within the Arts Pod. This position will work closely with current students, prospective students and families, as well as faculty and staff, to help create a welcoming experience, connect prospective students with opportunities in the arts, and support the programs and events that showcase the creative work of our students and faculty.

Beginning July 1, 2027, the Arts Pod will transition to the School of Creative Arts and Design. This position will continue to support shared outreach and recruitment efforts and collaborate with faculty and staff across the School.

Duties

  • Coordinate recruitment and outreach activities, prospective student communication, campus visits and tours, and recruitment events.
  • Provide support for concerts, productions, exhibitions, festivals, camps, clinics, and other Arts Pod/School events.
  • Assist with event communications, marketing, and promotion in coordination with College and Arts Pod/School staff.
  • Coordinate group travel and provide logistical support for Arts Pod/School program activities.
  • Assist with the hiring and onboarding of student workers and coordinate timekeeping and payroll processes.
  • Coordinate operational needs and serve as point of contact for facilities in Ivan Wilson Fine Arts Center and Music Hall.
  • Cross-train and collaborate with staff to provide shared operational, recruitment, scheduling, and event support across the Arts Pod/School.
  • Coordinate master event calendars and ASTRA scheduling.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, plus two years related administrative experience.

Additional Information

Hourly Rate: $19.49/hr
