External Job Description and Responsibilities
We're seeking a Contract Recruiter to support hiring initiatives across telehealth, call center, patient support, and other operational teams. In this role, you'll partner with hiring leaders to source, attract, and engage top talent while helping deliver an exceptional candidate experience. This is a 4-6 month contract position with the potential to extend based on business needs.
What You'll Do
As a Contract Recruiter, you will manage the full recruitment lifecycle for a variety of healthcare support and operational roles, identifying and engaging qualified candidates while creating a positive candidate experience from first contact through offer acceptance.
Key responsibilities include
- Develop strategic sourcing and recruitment marketing plans for assigned openings.
- Source, screen, and qualify candidates for telehealth, call center, patient support, customer service, scheduling, intake, operations, and other non-clinical healthcare positions.
- Partner with hiring managers and operational leaders to understand hiring needs and develop effective recruiting strategies.
- Build and maintain strong talent pipelines through proactive sourcing efforts, networking, referrals, and market research.
- Conduct outreach through cold calling, social media, professional networking, database mining, and other sourcing channels.
- Respond promptly to candidate inquiries regarding career opportunities.
- Manage candidates throughout the hiring process, ensuring a positive and engaging experience.
- Gather and maintain candidate information, including resumes, assessments, and supporting documentation.
- Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring teams.
- Collaborate with recruiters, hiring managers, HR partners, and support teams to ensure a seamless recruitment process.
- Utilize applicant tracking systems and databases to accurately document recruiting activity and maintain data integrity.
- Conduct reference checks and assist with pre-employment processes as needed.
- Stay informed on recruitment trends, competitive intelligence, labor market conditions, and talent acquisition best practices.
- Support hiring events, virtual career fairs, and other recruitment initiatives as needed.
- Consistently achieve departmental goals and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Requirements
What You Bring
- Experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, healthcare recruiting, high-volume recruiting, call center recruiting, or a related field preferred.
- Experience recruiting for customer service, patient support, telehealth, contact center, operations, or other non-clinical healthcare roles is strongly preferred.
- Strong sourcing and networking skills with the ability to identify and engage passive candidates.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and influencing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience utilizing applicant tracking systems, CRM platforms, LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and other sourcing tools preferred.
- Ability to evaluate candidate qualifications and assess organizational fit.
- Self-motivated, collaborative, and results-oriented mindset.
- Ability to quickly ramp up and contribute in a contract recruiting environment.
