By joining our team, you’ll be asked to help with the various stages of project execution, including proposals, site surveys, analysis studies of industrial power systems, drafting technical reports and delivery to the site. - Lead and deliver power system studies, including load flow, short-circuit, protection coordination, grid interconnection and arc-flash risk analyses
- Conduct specialized studies related to power quality, grounding, electromagnetic interference, NERC compliance and transients
- Perform technical field surveys and measurement campaigns in electrical installations
- Model and analyze power systems using specialized software
- Produce rigorous and high-quality technical reports to support client decisions

Summary of certifications and job requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
- Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec
- Available for short- and long-term assignments at client sites in Québec and across Canada
- Knowledge of system simulation software (ETAP, EasyPower, SKM)
- Advanced English skills to facilitate collaboration with other BBA offices and/or clients in English-speaking Canadian provinces and internationally; you may need to use English occasionally or daily, depending on current projects
- Advanced French skills to facilitate collaboration with other BBA offices and/or clients in Québec
- ASP Construction card for health and general safety on construction sites; BBA can assist you in obtaining it, where necessary
- Valid driver’s licence
Asset: diploma from the Institut en génie de l’énergie électrique (IGEE)
