Scope of Position

The Associate Manufacturing Recruiter plays a key role in attracting and hiring high-volume hourly manufacturing talent for the Franklin, NH sites. Reporting to the TA Manager, Operations, this position owns full-cycle recruitment for temporary and permanent hourly roles, builds sustainable talent pipelines, develops community partnerships, and executes recruitment marketing strategies that strengthen the Watts employment brand. This role has no direct reports and is based onsite in Franklin, NH.

Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Own full-cycle recruitment for high-volume hourly manufacturing, warehouse, and related operations positions across the Franklin, NH sites.
  • Manage recruiting activity for both temporary and permanent hourly hiring needs, including intake, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer support, and candidate disposition.
  • Develop and execute local recruitment marketing campaigns that increase candidate attraction and strengthen awareness of Watts as an employer.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with staffing agencies, workforce development organizations, community groups, technical schools, and other local talent sources.
  • Represent Watts at job fairs, hiring events, community outreach programs, and other recruiting initiatives.
  • Partner with operations leaders and HR to understand workforce requirements, hiring priorities, shift needs, and anticipated demand.
  • Create and maintain talent pipelines for recurring, high-volume, and hard-to-fill manufacturing positions.
  • Deliver a responsive and professional candidate and hiring manager experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Maintain accurate and timely applicant, interview, and requisition data in Workday or other applicable systems.
  • Monitor recruiting activity and key metrics to assess pipeline health, source effectiveness, time to fill, and hiring outcomes.
  • Ensure recruiting practices comply with company policies, applicable employment laws, and established selection processes.
  • Assume responsibility for other projects and duties as assigned by the TA Manager, Operations, or Company management.

  • Travel Requirements: Up to 10% local travel for hiring events, community outreach, recruiting partnerships, and workforce development activities.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of staffing or recruiting experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or industrial environment.
  • Demonstrated experience managing high-volume hourly recruitment.
  • Experience supporting temporary and permanent hiring needs and partnering with staffing agencies.
  • Strong candidate sourcing, networking, and relationship-building capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, organization, follow-through, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions and changing priorities in a fast-paced operating environment.
  • Experience using an applicant tracking system or related recruiting technology.
  • Working knowledge of applicable employment laws, recruiting compliance requirements, and safety practices.
  • Must successfully establish employment eligibility and satisfactorily complete required background checks and pre-employment testing as a condition of employment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with recruitment marketing, social media recruiting, or employer branding initiatives.
  • Experience building community, workforce development, or educational partnerships.
  • Workday recruiting experience.
  • Knowledge of the New Hampshire manufacturing labor market and local talent resources.
  • Experience supporting multiple shifts and fluctuating workforce demand.

Working Conditions

While performing the job duties, you will be working on-site at a manufacturing facility and will perform the majority of your duties in an office environment. You may, at times, be required to be present on the manufacturing floor and will be required to wear the appropriate personal protective equipment. You will be required to work in the office at the Franklin, NH location (Monday – Friday). Your scheduled work hours will be communicated to you by your manager.

  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks like typing on a keyboard or using a mouse for extended periods.
  • Ability to physically move around the office, organize or transport files, packages, or other office-related materials.
  • Ability to read documents, use a computer, and perform data entry tasks.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with management and coworkers, particularly in meetings or phone calls.
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment such as computers, printers, phones, and copiers.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and carry light objects, such as office supplies, documents, or small equipment.
