We’re seeking an Associate Director of Talent Acquisition to join our Organizational and Workforce Development team and help us attract and build a talented, mission-driven workforce.
What You'll Do
- Lead recruitment strategy and high-volume hiring efforts to meet Starbridge's workforce needs.
- Oversee the hiring process from requisition through offer, ensuring consistent, accessible, and compliant practices.
- Create a positive candidate experience through timely communication and a smooth transition from selection through onboarding.
- Partner with hiring managers and Human Resources teams to strengthen hiring practices, remove barriers, and support workforce needs.
- Lead, coach, and develop the Talent Acquisition and onboarding team.
- Monitor recruitment data and trends to identify opportunities and improve hiring outcomes.
- Ensure recruitment and onboarding practices are accurate, compliant, and audit ready.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, human services, or a related field required; commensurate experience considered.
- 3+ years of high-volume recruitment experience, preferably in nonprofit, human services, healthcare, or another mission-driven organization.
- 2+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
- Experience recruiting Direct Support Professionals or other high-volume frontline positions.
- Strong knowledge of effective and lawful interviewing and hiring practices, with knowledge of applicable federal and New York State requirements.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems; JazzHR and ADP preferred. SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar certification preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and relationship-building skills, with a commitment to accessible, equitable, and inclusive hiring practices.
