What's happening at Vay

First to roll out vehicles in both Europe and the USA on public roads without a human being inside & currently the 2nd largest commercial, driverless car fleet in the Western World.
We've partnered with Kodiak to bring remote-driving technology to autonomous trucks in the US, showcasing our ability to integrate our system into heavy-duty commercial vehicles and expand the applications of our tech across the US.
We've completed 10's of thousands of trips so far and are busy multiplying our Las Vegas fleet just to meet demand!

We're looking for a Senior Talent Partner, Operations to help build the teams behind that growth.

You'll own fast-paced, high-volume hiring across some of our most critical Operations roles, including Remote Drivers, Safety Drivers, Field Support Agents, Remote Truck Drivers and more. Hiring demand moves quickly here, and your ability to build great pipelines and get the right people through the door will directly impact how fast Vay can scale.

We need more than someone who can run a recruitment process. We're looking for a builder and a doer: someone who spots problems, works out what's causing them and takes ownership of finding a solution. You'll use AI and automation to work smarter, challenge processes that aren't working and continuously look for better ways to hire at scale.

What you'll be driving

High-Volume Operations Hiring

Own end-to-end hiring across our Operations organisation, with a major focus on roles including Remote Drivers, Safety Drivers, Field Support Agents and Remote Truck Drivers.
Build and manage high-volume candidate pipelines while maintaining a high bar for quality, speed and candidate experience.
Partner closely with Operations leaders to translate changing workforce requirements into clear hiring plans.
Develop sourcing strategies that give us access to the talent we need as our Las Vegas operation and future markets scale.
Use recruiting data to understand funnel performance, identify bottlenecks and continuously improve conversion, quality and hiring velocity.

Building Smarter Ways to Hire

Make AI and automation part of how you work every day, using technology to remove repetitive work and make yourself and the wider team more effective.
Continuously improve how we source, screen, assess, schedule and hire candidates at scale.
Spot problems, understand their root cause and bring solutions rather than simply highlighting what's wrong.
Experiment with new tools and approaches, turning what works into scalable processes for the wider Talent team.
Create structure where it's needed while staying comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment where priorities will change.

Talent Partnership

Build trusted relationships with Operations leaders and become someone they rely on for both hiring execution and advice.
Bring data, market insight and recommendations to hiring conversations rather than simply taking requirements.
Be a genuine team player, sharing what works, jumping in when others need support and prioritising the success of the wider team
Bring a positive, constructive mentality. When something isn't working, your energy goes into figuring out how we make it better.
Represent Vay exceptionally in every candidate interaction and be a genuine ambassador for our culture internally & externally.

What are we looking for

Strong experience owning high-volume, frontline, Operations or similarly fast-paced hiring.
A track record of delivering significant hiring volumes without sacrificing candidate quality or experience.
A genuinely solution-oriented mindset, you naturally move from identifying a problem to figuring out what we should do about it.
Strong evidence of using AI and automation to make your work faster, smarter or more effective. We care about what you've actually done with it, not just which tools you've tried.
A bias towards action and the ability to get things moving without waiting for perfect information or perfect processes.
Strong analytical instincts and the ability to use recruiting data to understand what needs attention.
A team-first, positive mentality and a willingness to jump in wherever you can make an impact.
Strong stakeholder-management skills and the confidence to challenge constructively when you see a better way.
Willingness to work on-site in Las Vegas and stay close to the Operations teams you're hiring for.
