UHP is currently affiliated with 182 providers consisting of 119 physicians and 63 advanced practice providers operating out of 54 locations across Southern, Central, and Northern California.

Position Summary

The Recruiting Coordinator supports Unio Specialty Care's talent acquisition efforts by managing the day-to-day logistics of the recruitment lifecycle — from sourcing and initial candidate contact through credentialing and onboarding. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, organized professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is eager to help build the clinical and administrative teams at an industry-leading specialty care organization.

Candidates must live in Southern California

What you will be doing

Manage job postings and maintain recruitment channels across job boards and platforms
Support outreach to fellowship and residency programs to build the physician and APP talent pipeline
Coordinate candidate credentialing documentation and requirements throughout the hiring process
Administer candidate surveys at the pre-interview, post-interview, and onboarding stages
Track and maintain recruitment data and metrics to support reporting and process improvement
Conduct initial candidate screening and outreach
Manage candidate communications and outreach cadence to ensure a timely, positive candidate experience

What you will bring to the team

Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
1–2 years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, HR coordination, or a related administrative role; healthcare or physician recruiting experience a plus
Live in SoCal
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple candidates and priorities simultaneously
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail, particularly with credentialing documentation and compliance requirements
Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS), job boards, and Microsoft Office
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment with sensitive candidate and employee information
Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
