Talent Acquisition Specialist/Sales Recruiter

ONIT Energy | Full-Time, Permanent $75,000–$95,000 per year, plus performance bonuses

About the Role

ONIT Energy is growing, and we're looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team and help us find the people who will drive that growth. In this newly created role, you'll partner closely with Sales leadership to build out our Inside and Outside Sales teams, while also supporting hiring across Customer Service, IT, Finance, and Administration.
This is a full-cycle recruiting role for someone who loves the thrill of finding great talent and matching them to the right opportunity. You'll own the process from sourcing through offer, and you'll play a key part in shaping the culture and performance of our sales organization as it scales.

What You'll Do

Design and execute recruiting strategies to meet ONIT Energy's hiring needs, with a primary focus on Sales
Source, screen, and interview candidates across multiple channels — job boards, social media, career fairs, and referrals
Partner with Sales leadership (and other departments as needed) to understand hiring priorities and build talent pipelines
Write and post compelling job descriptions that attract top candidates
Evaluate candidates against role requirements, sales KPIs, and cultural fit
Track and report on recruiting metrics to identify what's working and where to improve
Support onboarding, and training for new hires
Build lasting relationships with candidates for future opportunities
Champion ONIT Energy's reputation as a great place to build a career

What You Bring

Proven full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally with a sales-focused hiring background
Comfort recruiting across a range of functions — experience in Customer Service, IT, Finance, or Administration is a strong asset
Hands-on experience sourcing candidates through social media and other digital channels
Familiarity with sales KPIs and using performance metrics as hiring criteria is a plus
Strong interviewing skills across formats (phone, video, in-person)
Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills
Working knowledge of ATS/CMS platforms
