The Talent Acquisition Manager leads the organization's talent acquisition function and is responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving recruiting strategies, processes, and programs that attract and hire top talent. This role partners with business leaders to anticipate workforce needs, build sustainable talent pipelines, and ensure a consistent, efficient, and positive hiring experience.

A key focus of this role is strengthening the organization's long-term workforce strategy through partnerships with technical schools, apprenticeship programs, workforce development organizations, military transition programs, colleges, and community partners to create reliable pipelines for skilled trades and professional talent.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following

Develop and execute talent acquisition strategies aligned with organizational goals, workforce plans, labor market conditions, and future hiring needs.
Partner with business leaders to forecast workforce requirements and develop proactive recruiting solutions.
Lead full-cycle recruitment for exempt, non-exempt, professional, technical, and skilled trades positions.
Establish, standardize, and continuously improve recruiting processes, tools, technologies, and best practices to ensure an efficient, consistent, and compliant hiring process.
Oversee applicant tracking systems, recruitment technology and related worflows.
Utilize recruiting metrics, workforce analytics, and performance dashboards to evaluate results, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill positions through strategic sourcing and workforce development initiatives.
Develop and maintain partnerships with technical schools, trade schools, apprenticeship programs, colleges, universities, military transition programs, and workforce development organizations.
Lead internship, apprenticeship, co-op, and early-career recruiting programs.
Promote the organization's employment brand through recruitment marketing, community engagement, career fairs, industry events, social media, and workforce development initiatives.
Drive initiatives that enhance candidate engagement and deliver a positive candidate experience.
Lead, coach, and develop talent acquisition team members.
Establish team goals and performance expectations aligned with organizational objectives.
Foster a collaborative, customer-focused, and results-driven recruiting culture.
Prepare and present recruiting, workforce planning, and talent pipeline updates to leadership.

Required Skills & Education

Typically requires a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, Communications, or a related field w/ 5+ years of progressive talent acquisition or recruiting experience.
Three or more years of leadership experience managing recruiters or talent acquisition teams.
Experience recruiting for a broad range of positions, including skilled trades, manufacturing operations, engineering, professional and leadership roles.
Experience developing recruiting strategies and workforce plans to support business growth.
Experience utilizing recruiting metrics, workforce analytics, and applicant tracking systems.
Proven experience developing workforce partnerships and talent pipelines for skilled trades, manufacturing, technical, and engineering talent through community, educational, and workforce development organizations.
Experience supporting high-volume hourly recruiting as well as professional-level hiring.
