About the Opportunity

MyComputerCareer is seeking an experienced Contract Recruiter to provide additional recruiting support across the organization, with an immediate and significant focus on sales and revenue-related hiring.

While this recruiter may support positions across a variety of functions and levels based on business needs, demonstrated experience successfully recruiting sales talent is required.

We are looking for a recruiter who knows how to find talent—not simply wait for applicants to apply. The ideal contractor has a strong track record of proactively sourcing, engaging, assessing, and closing high-performing candidates, particularly within competitive sales talent markets.

The Contract Recruiter will partner closely with our Talent Acquisition team and hiring leaders to support priority searches and build strong candidate pipelines. This individual should be comfortable working independently, moving quickly, managing multiple searches, and adjusting priorities as business needs evolve.

What You'll Do

Manage full-cycle recruiting for assigned positions across the organization, with a strong initial focus on sales and revenue-related roles.
Proactively source passive candidates through LinkedIn, professional networks, referrals, databases, and other sourcing channels.
Build targeted talent pipelines for current and anticipated hiring needs.
Conduct candidate screens to assess experience, performance, career progression, motivation, and overall fit.
Partner with hiring leaders to understand the profile, competencies, and performance expectations needed for each position.
Develop creative sourcing strategies for difficult-to-fill and highly competitive roles.
Present qualified candidate slates rather than relying primarily on inbound applicants.
Maintain consistent candidate communication and deliver a strong candidate experience throughout the recruiting process.
Provide regular updates regarding pipeline activity, market feedback, candidate quality, and recruiting challenges.
Maintain accurate and timely recruiting activity and candidate information within our applicant tracking system.
Support offer discussions and candidate closing as needed.
Shift recruiting focus and priorities as organizational hiring needs evolve.

What We're Looking For

5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
Demonstrated experience successfully recruiting sales and revenue talent is required.
Proven ability to proactively source and engage passive candidates.
Experience recruiting across multiple levels, from individual contributors through leadership positions.
Strong understanding of how to assess sales talent beyond the resume, including performance history, metrics, quota attainment, leadership capability, and career progression.
Ability and willingness to recruit positions outside of sales based on organizational needs.
Strong sourcing skills and experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and other talent sourcing tools.
Ability to independently manage searches from intake through offer.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and high expectations for responsiveness.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills with candidates and hiring leaders.
Experience recruiting within education, high-volume sales organizations, inside sales, or other performance-driven environments is a plus.

While sales recruiting will be a key priority, we need a versatile recruiter who can step into other searches as needed, take ownership, and quickly develop an effective recruiting strategy.

Independent Contractor Relationship

This position is structured as an independent contractor (1099) engagement. The contractor will be responsible for applicable taxes, insurance, and other obligations associated with independent contractor status. This engagement does not include employee benefits.
