Description

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for leading the full recruitment life cycle to achieve business objectives. This job plans, develops, and coordinates, all day-to-day recruitment activities to attract a diverse pool of qualified talent while working closely with hiring managers to understand organization needs, and ensure a positive experience.

Examples of Duties

Develop and implement strategies to attract talent.
Advises hiring managers and senior leadership, helping to define success profiles and make informed, data-driven decisions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to attract and retain talent to achieve organizational goals and initiatives.
Analyzes metrics and feedback to assess the effectiveness of talent acquisition campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
Monitors industry trends and market activity to identify opportunities for proactive talent acquisition initiatives.
Responsible for talent process from cradle to grave.
NOTE: Position is 100% on site - no telework.

Typical Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience, plus 5 -7 years of working experience in talent acquisition and/or human resources.
Extensive experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), experience with NEOGOV preferred
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and other desktop applications as necessary.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Meticulous attention to detail is mandatory and excellent follow-up skills
Thorough experience maintaining complex records, assembling and organizing data and preparing reports from such data.
Demonstrated experience establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with supervisors, co-workers and the public.
Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Society for Human Resources Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) Preferred.
Must pass a controlled substance (drug) test for employment.
