About the Company

Our client is a fast-growing U.S.-based digital marketing company helping local and home service businesses generate qualified leads, strengthen their online presence, and grow through innovative organic marketing strategies.

The organization operates in a high-growth, performance-driven environment where speed, creativity, ownership, and measurable results are highly valued.

As the company continues to scale, it is investing in building a world-class recruiting function capable of consistently identifying, attracting, and hiring exceptional talent across multiple areas of the business.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly driven Head of Recruiting who combines exceptional sourcing and headhunting ability with strong recruiting leadership and practical knowledge of U.S. hiring compliance.

This is not a traditional HR leadership role and is not intended for someone who primarily wants to manage processes, policies, or administrative functions.

We are looking first and foremost for an outstanding recruiter: someone who knows how to identify difficult-to-find talent, approach passive candidates, generate interest, assess quality quickly, and consistently bring exceptional people into an organization.

The successful candidate will remain deeply involved in recruiting execution while also improving processes, building talent pipelines, advising hiring leaders, and developing the recruiting function as the company continues to grow.

What You’ll Do

Own the company's end-to-end recruiting strategy and execution.
Personally source, engage, and recruit high-quality candidates across a variety of roles.
Proactively headhunt passive candidates instead of relying primarily on inbound applicants.
Develop creative sourcing strategies for difficult-to-fill and highly competitive positions.
Conduct candidate screening, interviewing, and qualification.
Partner closely with leadership and hiring managers to define role requirements and ideal candidate profiles.
Build proactive talent pipelines ahead of anticipated hiring needs.
Advise hiring managers on candidate quality, compensation expectations, talent availability, and market conditions.
Improve recruiting speed, quality of hire, candidate experience, and overall process effectiveness.
Establish, monitor, and improve recruiting KPIs and performance metrics.
Own and optimize recruiting tools, sourcing platforms, ATS systems, and external channels.
Continuously test new sourcing methods and recruiting strategies.
Maintain appropriate recruiting documentation and ensure hiring practices follow applicable U.S. requirements.
Help build scalable recruiting processes as the organization continues to grow.
Lead, mentor, and develop recruiting team members as the function expands.

Qualifications

Required

Significant experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, executive search, or professional headhunting.
Proven track record successfully identifying and recruiting high-quality passive candidates.
Exceptional sourcing skills across LinkedIn, databases, networks, referrals, direct outreach, and creative sourcing channels.
Strong ability to sell opportunities and generate candidate interest.
Excellent interviewing and candidate-assessment skills.
Experience managing recruiting processes from hiring intake through offer acceptance.
Strong understanding of recruiting strategy, talent pipelines, and hiring-market dynamics.
Working knowledge of U.S. recruiting and hiring compliance requirements.
Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Ability to influence senior leaders and hiring managers.
Highly resourceful, persistent, competitive, and results-oriented.
Comfortable recruiting across multiple roles and functions simultaneously.
Ability to operate independently, prioritize effectively, and move quickly in a high-growth environment.

Preferred

Previous experience as a Head of Recruiting, Head of Talent Acquisition, Recruiting Director, or similar leadership role.
Agency recruiting, retained search, or executive-search experience.
Experience recruiting within high-growth, entrepreneurial, or founder-led organizations.
Experience building recruiting functions or processes from the ground up.
Experience recruiting across both corporate and specialized positions.
Strong experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS platforms, sourcing tools, and recruiting technology.
Experience managing or developing recruiters, sourcers, or recruiting coordinators.
Experience using recruiting data and metrics to improve performance.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who is

A recruiter first: You enjoy sourcing, outreach, interviewing, and closing candidates and are willing to stay hands-on.
An exceptional headhunter: You know how to find candidates who are not actively applying.
Resourceful: You find alternative ways to reach great talent when traditional channels are not enough.
Persistent: Difficult searches motivate you rather than slow you down.
Competitive: You care deeply about winning great candidates.
Fast-moving: You make decisions quickly and maintain momentum throughout the recruiting process.
Commercially minded: You understand that recruiting directly impacts company growth and business performance.
Highly persuasive: You know how to communicate an opportunity and build genuine candidate interest.
Analytical: You use data and market feedback to improve recruiting performance.
Builder-oriented: You want to create and improve a recruiting function rather than simply maintain an existing system.
