About Basis

Basis builds real agents that do real work in the real economy. Our agents operate for hours at a time, performing end-to-end work for some of the largest accounting firms in the world.
We recently raised $100M at >$1B valuation and are racing to deploy the most advanced applied ML at production scale.
Our investors include: Khosla Ventures (Keith Rabois & Vinod Khosla), Accel (Miles Clements), Google Ventures, Nat Friedman & Daniel Gross, Adam D'Angelo, Jeff Dean, Jack Altman, Noam Brown, Kyle Vogt, Amjad Masad, Clem Delangue and many other operators/technical leaders.
"Basis is on the frontier of building production-grade, long-horizon agents. They've pushed the limits of what we thought our models could do on real-world, economically valuable, complex accounting tasks. They've been a great collaborator in helping us shape what the future of agents looks like." — Prashant Mital, Applied AI Lead, OpenAI

Basis is growing quickly and looking to triple headcount over the next 12 months. We’re building the GTM team that will bring our AI-native accounting platform to more businesses, and we’re looking for a GTM Recruiter to help us get there.

You’ll partner with hiring managers across the GTM org to define great talent, run thoughtful searches, and keep hiring moving. You’ll own roles across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Account Management, Revenue Operations, and other customer-facing teams, bringing strong judgment, a great candidate experience, and real urgency.

If the below describes you, we’d love to hear from you

1–5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally in a high-growth startup, recruiting agency, or similarly fast-paced environment
Experience recruiting for GTM roles across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Account Management, Revenue Operations, Partnerships, or similar teams
Strong sourcing instincts and a knack for reaching great candidates who are not actively looking
Excellent judgment and communication skills. You can advise hiring managers, assess talent rigorously, and tell the Basis story well
Highly organized, with the ability to manage several searches and stakeholders without dropping the details
Excited by people, AI, and building an exceptional company

What we’d love to see from you

Full-cycle ownership: You can run a search from kickoff to close, including intake, sourcing, candidate management, and offers.
GTM fluency: You understand how revenue teams work and what makes a great hire across sales, marketing, customer success, account management, partnerships, and revenue operations.
Hiring manager partnership: You build trust quickly, ask smart questions, and help teams stay calibrated on what they need.
High-quality sourcing: You enjoy finding people others miss, using research, outbound, referrals, and creative problem-solving to build strong pipelines.
Candidate-first communication: You are clear, responsive, and thoughtful, and you make candidates feel respected throughout the process.
Comfort with pace and ambiguity: You enjoy moving quickly, adapting as priorities shift, and jumping in where the business needs you.
Company-builder mindset: You care about building the team for the long term, and want to improve our hiring process as we grow.
Love being in person: You prefer shouting across a room over a Slack message and are excited to work full-time in our NYC office.
All-in: This is a big opportunity, and we will move fast. We’re looking for people who are eager to build, and we compensate generously.
