Role Overview

The Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a critical role in supporting Mindful Care's continued growth by managing full-cycle recruiting for assigned roles across the organization. This individual partners closely with hiring managers and People leadership to deliver a thoughtful, efficient, and high-quality candidate experience while ensuring alignment with operational needs, compliance standards, and best practices-particularly within healthcare and behavioral health environments.

This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional who thrives in fast-paced, evolving organizations and brings both structure and adaptability to the recruiting process.

Key Responsibilities

Full-Cycle Recruiting

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and design effective recruiting strategies for each open position
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including requisition intake, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer coordination
  • Prepare and post job advertisements across appropriate job boards, professional networks, colleges, and referral channels

Candidate SourcingAssessment

  • Source and engage candidates using applicant tracking systems, resume databases, social media platforms, and other creative sourcing methods
  • Screen resumes and conduct phone/video interviews using reliable and compliant selection tools
  • Assess candidates' qualifications, including relevant skills, experience, competencies, and cultural alignment

CandidateHiring Manager Experience

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the hiring process, ensuring a positive and professional experience
  • Build strong relationships with candidates and maintain clear, timely communication
  • Partner with hiring managers to support interview scheduling, feedback collection, and hiring decisions

ProcessBest Practices

  • Monitor recruiting metrics and apply industry best practices to continuously improve efficiency and outcomes
  • Support the Talent Acquisition Leader in establishing and maintaining standardized recruiting processes, including:
  • Requisition creation
  • Interview workflows
  • Candidate evaluation and selection
  • Offer letter coordination
  • Ensure recruiting practices align with employment laws, internal policies, and healthcare compliance standards

Employer BrandEngagement

  • Actively promote Mindful Care as an employer of choice and reinforce the organization's values throughout the recruiting process
  • Participate in and support employer branding efforts, including collaboration on social media initiatives (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X/Twitter)

QualificationsSkills

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
  • Experience supporting in house recruitment in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience recruiting within healthcare, behavioral health, or clinical environments
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and HR technology platforms
