Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Talent Acquisition Assistant to support our recruitment efforts for direct care workers. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the full-cycle recruitment process for direct care worker positions, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
  • Coordinate and communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process to ensure a positive candidate experience.
  • Maintain and update applicant tracking systems and recruitment databases accurately.
  • Support onboarding activities for new hires, including preparing documentation and scheduling orientation sessions.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidate qualifications and suitability.
  • Promote job opportunities through various channels, including social media and community outreach.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and organizational policies.

Skills and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher preferred.
  • Previous experience in recruitment, human resources, or administrative support is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with applicant tracking systems.
  • Compassionate attitude and understanding of the importance of direct care roles.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and confidentiality.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, human resources, administrative support, or a related role preferred
  • Experience supporting recruiting or hiring processes, including job postings, candidate communication, interview scheduling, and applicant tracking
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple open positions and competing priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a professional, candidate-focused approach
