About Us & Position Summary

New Jersey Respiratory, Inc. (NJRA) is a specialized respiratory care organization providing services across multiple facilities in NJ, NY, CT, DE, PA, and MD.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Healthcare Recruiter to manage full-cycle recruitment for clinical and operational roles across the organization. This role is responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring qualified candidates to support our 24/7 healthcare operations. The ideal candidate understands the urgency of healthcare staffing, can manage multiple openings simultaneously, and is comfortable recruiting for a wide range of positions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for all company positions, including:
  • Respiratory Therapists (RRT/CRT)
  • LPNs and other clinical staff
  • Regional and facility leadership roles
  • Administrative and operational positions
  • Partner with department leaders to understand hiring needs and workforce planning
  • Source candidates through job boards, networking, referrals, and outreach initiatives
  • Conduct phone screens and initial interviews
  • Coordinate interviews with hiring managers
  • Perform reference checks and credential verification as required
  • Track recruitment metrics and maintain accurate applicant records
  • Ensure timely hiring to support continuous patient care and operational coverage
  • Support onboarding coordination in partnership with HR
  • Support initiatives to improve employee satisfaction and retention
  • Represent NJRA at job fairs, clinical schools, and industry events

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of healthcare recruitment experience required, with a proven ability to fill roles quickly in high-demand environments
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Demonstrated success recruiting both clinical and operational positions
  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize critical openings to maintain staffing coverage
  • Experience recruiting in a 24/7 healthcare setting where speed and responsiveness directly impact operations
  • Ability to manage multiple open requisitions simultaneously without sacrificing quality or compliance
  • Solid understanding of healthcare licensure, credentialing, and onboarding timelines
  • Highly organized with strong follow-through and communication skills
  • Experience using ATS/HRIS systems to track candidate pipelines and accelerate hiring processes (UKG preferred)

Work Location

This is an onsite position requiring in-person work five days a week. There may be flexibility for a hybrid schedule after 90 days of employment and with continued success.
