Human Resources & Talent Acquisition Intern

September 2, 2026
Pittsburgh, PA, US
$35,400 – $37,400/yr

Jovie is seeking an undergraduate student for a paid, part-time Human Resources & Talent Acquisition Internship focused on recruiting college students, graduating seniors, recent graduates, and other qualified candidates.

This is a hands-on internship for a student interested in Human Resources, recruiting, and talent acquisition. You will help build Jovie’s talent pipeline while gaining practical experience in campus recruiting, candidate sourcing, employee referrals, employment branding, and recruiting analytics.

What You'll Do

  • Source and engage prospective candidates.
  • Conduct candidate outreach by phone, email, text, and in person.
  • Follow up with candidates throughout the recruiting process.
  • Build relationships with Career Services, faculty, academic departments, and student organizations.
  • Attend career fairs and campus recruiting events.
  • Recruit college students, graduating seniors, and recent graduates.
  • Support Jovie’s College Brand Ambassador and employee referral programs.
  • Assist with recruiting campaigns and employment-branding initiatives.
  • Track leads, applications, interviews, hires, recruiting sources, and retention.

Experience the Brand You Recruit For

Because Jovie’s business is childcare, the intern will also be trained and expected to work as a Jovie caregiver/sitter. Once qualified and trained, there may be opportunities to serve as a Lead Caregiver for Jovie Event Care.
This firsthand experience will help you understand the employees you are recruiting and how talent acquisition, employee experience, and customer service connect.

  • Strong interest in HR and Talent Acquisition.
