Job Description
Position Summary
Performs recruiting and onboarding activities including candidate sourcing, interview coordination, offer administration, pre-employment processing, onboarding coordination, and new hire integration support. Applies working knowledge to manage recruiting and onboarding workflows while supporting projects, operational efficiency, compliance requirements, and cross-functional activities throughout the employee lifecycle.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Execute candidate sourcing strategies using applicant tracking systems, talent databases, and professional networks to identify qualified candidates.
- Perform candidate screening and qualification assessments against established job requirements.
- Coordinate interview schedules and logistics across hiring managers, candidates, and interview teams to support efficient hiring processes.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to clarify job requirements, candidate profiles, and staffing needs.
- Prepare, distribute, and track offer letters, background checks, employment verifications, and pre-employment requirements.
- Coordinate onboarding activities including scheduling new hire orientation, facilitating required documentation, and ensuring completion of onboarding milestones.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for new hires throughout the pre-employment and onboarding process, providing guidance and support regarding onboarding requirements, policies, and procedures.
- Partner with Human Resources, hiring managers, payroll, IT, security, and other internal stakeholders to ensure a seamless transition from candidate to employee.
- Maintain accurate candidate and employee records within applicant tracking systems, HR systems, and onboarding platforms in accordance with corporate governance and data privacy standards.
- Monitor onboarding progress and resolve issues that may impact start dates or new hire experience.
- Support recruitment and onboarding projects by gathering data, tracking progress, and reporting status to HR leadership.
- Monitor recruiting and onboarding metrics and recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and candidate/new hire experience.
- Maintain compliance with ITAR/EAR regulations and applicable employment, documentation, and onboarding requirements.
- Assist with onboarding communications, orientation materials, employee welcome initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts related to the onboarding experience.
Qualifications
- Ability to utilize applicant tracking systems, HR information systems, onboarding platforms, and recruitment databases.
- Knowledge of full-cycle recruitment, candidate management, onboarding processes, and employee lifecycle administration.
- Familiarity with employment documentation, background screenings, onboarding requirements, and personnel recordkeeping practices.
- Understanding of corporate governance, candidate data privacy, and employee information management requirements.
- Ability to coordinate activities across multiple stakeholders while managing competing priorities and deadlines.
- Understanding of ITAR/EAR compliance requirements applicable to handling controlled information within a defense contractor environment.
- Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills with the ability to support candidates, new hires, and hiring managers throughout the recruitment and onboarding process.
Education
- Minimum: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
Experience
- 2-4 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting both recruiting and onboarding functions within a manufacturing, aerospace, or defense environment.
- Experience with HRIS, ATS, onboarding systems, and recruitment reporting tools.
- Certification in Human Resources or Talent Acquisition (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR, AIRS).
- Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives related to candidate and employee experience.
- Exposure to cross-functional project support within HR operations.

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $83,000.00 to $103,700.00 US Dollar (USD) Salaried based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company’s Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company’s bonus multiple, based on the Company’s performance in the applicable quarter. Employees will receive 120 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company’s 401(k) plan.
This position requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations (including, but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)).
