Contingent opportunity: Axyde Analytics is building a proposed team for the anticipated U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) Fellowship Program Administration and Research Support requirement. This is advance recruiting, not an awarded or funded position. Hiring, start date, hours and final duties depend on contract award, funding and task-order requirements.
Work arrangement: Remote administrative work is proposed, with travel and onsite support at ERDC facilities as required. Midlothian, Virginia is Axyde's administrative base; final duty location and remote eligibility will be determined by the requirement. This is not a guarantee of fully remote work.
STEM Recruiting and University Partnerships Coordinator
Build qualified candidate pipelines and university relationships for a proposed ERDC research fellowship program, working with the Program Director and Fellowship Operations Manager.
Responsibilities
- Develop university, faculty, postdoctoral-office and scientific-network recruiting channels.
- Source STEM researchers and students against laboratory-defined research needs; coordinate outreach, applications and interviews.
- Verify documented education and credentials against published eligibility criteria and maintain complete candidate records.
- Coordinate technical screening with appropriate scientific reviewers and track applicants through appointment handoff.
- Maintain ATS data, pipeline metrics, candidate communications and timely, consistent follow-up.
What we seek
- Demonstrated recruiting or program coordination experience involving STEM researchers, postdoctoral scholars, graduate students or research professionals.
- Experience working with universities, laboratories or research institutions.
- Strong sourcing, applicant tracking, credential-documentation and stakeholder communication skills.
- Ability to manage parallel searches across different scientific disciplines without substituting keywords for technical review.
Preferred: Federal research fellowship recruiting, university postdoctoral programs, scientific society networks and LinkedIn Recruiter/ATS experience. Research areas may include environmental and water sciences, geospatial analytics, infrastructure, mechanics, cold regions and digital engineering. Final government qualifications have not been issued.
