Build the teams that build a better world.

We're a home for people who want their work to mean something.

Behind every campaign that moves people to give, act and show up is a team that believes in the work. At VeraData Holdings, our enterprise (VeraData, Avalon, FaircomNY, Teal Media, AcuityIM and JCR) partner with nonprofits and mission-driven organizations working to create meaningful, positive change in the world. Together, we bring the data, fundraising strategy and creative that help their causes grow.

Our people choose this work because they care about it. They're curious and talented, and proud of the missions they help move forward. They're why our work succeeds and why our clients trust us.

Now we're looking for a Talent Acquisition Lead to bring in talented people with fresh perspectives who share our commitment to meaningful work. If you want your work to build something that matters, and you love connecting great people with purpose, we'd love to meet you.

Why this role matters

You'll lead recruiting across our whole enterprise. You'll find the analysts, strategists, creatives and client partners who care about the mission as much as the craft. You'll own hiring from first conversation to accepted offer. You'll also help shape how we tell our story to the people we want to hire.

What we stand for

Purpose-driven impact. We exist to help mission-driven organizations create meaningful change and build stronger, more equitable, inclusive and resilient communities.
Human dignity and inclusion. Everyone deserves dignity, respect and the chance to thrive. We build a culture where people feel safe asking questions, raising concerns and offering different points of view.
Extraordinary people, exceptional work. We hire talented people, invest in their growth and give them room to do the best work of their careers in service of missions that matter.
Trust through transparency. We communicate openly, follow through on our commitments, and own it and make it right when we fall short.
Better because of each other. We're a family of companies with different histories and strengths, building something together that none of us could build alone.

As our Talent Acquisition Lead, you'll be the first person many future teammates meet. You'll carry these values into every conversation.

What you'll do

Partner with hiring managers across our companies to define what great looks like before a role opens
Source, screen and guide candidates through a hiring process that is structured, fair and respectful of their time
Build lasting talent pipelines and communities for the roles we hire most often and the ones that are hardest to fill
Research market pay, prepare offers with our Total Rewards team, and negotiate within approved ranges
Champion internal mobility so our own people can grow their careers with us
Lead our employer brand across careers pages, postings and social media, and represent us at recruitment and industry events
Set consistent interview standards and scorecards, train hiring managers, and teach interviewing to our hiring teams.
Track the metrics that matter (time to fill, source of hire, offer acceptance, quality of hire) and keep improving how we hire
Keep our hiring compliant with EEO, pay transparency and background check requirements, and keep our ATS records clean

What you bring

5+ years of full-cycle recruiting, including in-house recruiting across multiple functions or business units
Strong skills with applicant tracking systems, LinkedIn Recruiter and sourcing tools; HRIS experience (such as UKG) is a plus
A candidate-first mindset, and the judgment to balance speed, quality and fairness
Enthusiasm for partnering with nonprofits and mission-driven organizations, and for finding people who are excited to advance their missions
Bonus points for experience recruiting for agencies, consulting firms, data organizations or nonprofit-serving organizations; building employer brand programs; or recruiting across multiple companies or after an acquisition
AIRS, LinkedIn Certified Professional Recruiter or SHRM-CP certification preferred
