About CES

Continental Expedited Services is a North American logistics partner built for urgency. We move time-critical freight across the United States, Mexico and Canada through asset-based capacity, freight-forwarding expertise, technology and a strong partner network. Our work depends on people who communicate clearly, follow through and keep improving the way we serve customers and one another.

Position Summary

We are looking for an energetic, organized Truck Driver Recruiter to build strong relationships with Company Drivers, Lease Purchase Drivers and Owner Operators. This is not a one-contact recruiting role. You will own a high-touch candidate experience from the first conversation through orientation readiness and early-tenure follow-up—helping drivers understand the opportunity, complete the process and start with the support they need to succeed.

What You Will Do

  • Connect with prospective drivers through job boards, referrals, social media, recruiting events, outreach and marketing-supported campaigns.
  • Respond quickly, build trust and maintain consistent follow-up with qualified candidates.
  • Guide candidates through screening, application, documentation, compliance steps and orientation readiness.
  • Partner with Operations, Safety, Compliance, HR, Payroll, Maintenance, Orientation and Marketing to create a smooth candidate experience.
  • Track recruiting, retention, turnover, and seat-fill metrics so leaders and candidates have a clear picture of next steps.
  • Support early-driver check-ins, surface concerns quickly and help improve the recruiting and onboarding experience over time.
  • Use recruiting data and frontline feedback to identify what is working and where the candidate journey can improve.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of recruiting experience in trucking, transportation, logistics or a similar high-volume hiring environment.
  • Knowledge of DOT/FMCSA requirements and commercial-driver recruiting processes.
  • Strong communication, organization, relationship-building and follow-through skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple candidates and priorities at the same time.
  • Experience with recruiting and driver management systems such as AvatarFleet, HireRight, BambooHR, Samsara, Sylectus, or similar.
  • Experience with social media recruiting or driver lead-generation campaigns is a plus.
  • Comfort working across teams and HRIS systems to maintain accurate records.
  • A service-minded, improvement-oriented approach to helping drivers make informed career decisions.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive compensation and incentive opportunity based on experience and approved role milestones. CES offers eligible team members benefits including health, dental and vision insurance, life insurance, paid time off, 401(k) and company matching, short- and long-term disability, critical illness, accident and life insurance

Location

  • This position is based in Clarksville, Tennessee. Occasional travel to approved job fairs, terminals and recruiting events may be required.

Work Authorization Requirement

  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
