POSITION OVERVIEW

RIVA is hiring a Technical Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team. This individual will play a critical role in hiring for both funded positions and proposal work, working closely with delivery and growth teams across the company to attract, screen, and hire great talent. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition, the Technical Recruiter will operate as a trusted business partner to internal stakeholders, fostering relationships and providing guidance that supports our business needs and hiring strategy.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Recruiting Lifecycle Management

  • Own the full recruiting journey, from opening a requisition to extending an offer and closing the hire
  • Join candidate interviews and partner with hiring managers to make well-informed, equitable hiring decisions
  • Craft, extend, and negotiate offers that align with company policy and reflect what candidates value most

Stakeholder Partnership

  • Work side by side with hiring managers to build and refine requisitions, defining position requirements
  • Partner with proposal teams to fuel new business pursuits, sourcing, screening, and preparing top candidates ahead of contract awards
  • Build trust through credibility, integrity, and clear, skilled communication with managers, peers, and candidates

Sourcing & Talent Pipeline Development

  • Uncover great talent through both traditional and creative channels
  • Bring strong passive sourcing and talent engagement skills to connect with candidates who aren't actively looking
  • Operations, Reporting & Compliance
  • Keep accurate, up-to-date candidate records in our applicant tracking system
  • Use metrics to keep hiring managers and leadership informed of progress
  • Uphold government regulations, employment laws, and RIVA policies, processes, and procedure

Programs & Continuous Improvement

  • Coordinate planning and execution of hiring events, both locally and nationally
  • Contribute actively to process improvement initiatives, collaborating with stakeholders across the company, including hiring managers, influencers, and RIVA Corporate departments

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5-7 years of technical recruiting experience
  • At least 5 years in a government contracting environment
  • Solid understanding of the full recruiting lifecycle and employment law, including the importance of capturing accurate information to ensure compliance
  • Proven track record of driving results and exceeding expectations, including helping hiring managers make better, faster interviewing and hiring decisions
  • Demonstrated success identifying passive candidates through a variety of channels
  • Experience using metrics to track progress and report results
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Technical proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Related degree or equivalent work experience

The salary or salary range for this role reflects an estimated range informed by multiple compensation factors. Final offers may vary based on considerations such as relevant experience, education and training, critical skillsets, and overall business needs.

$100,000—$120,000 USD
