PURPOSE
To attract, recruit, and help retain exceptional employees who align with Believe Therapies' mission, culture, and standards by developing strong talent pipelines, building relationships with universities with Speech, Physical, and Occupational therapy programs, strengthening employee engagement and retention, and authentically showcasing the people, culture, and client successes that demonstrate what it means to work at Believe Therapies.

POST FUNCTIONS
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Proactively recruit qualified candidates for open positions, with a primary emphasis on Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology, and related therapy positions.
- Maintain an active pipeline of prospective candidates rather than relying solely on applicants responding to open positions.
- Develop and maintain effective recruiting strategies for difficult-to-fill positions.
- Maintain current job postings and ensure positions are presented accurately and consistently with Believe Therapies' mission, culture, and employment experience.
- Screen applicants for minimum qualifications, communication ability, potential cultural alignment, and interest in Believe Therapies.
- Conduct initial candidate screening and coordinate appropriate next steps with the HR Administrator and hiring leaders.
- Maintain timely, professional communication with candidates throughout the recruitment and hiring process.
- Coordinate interviews, assessments, references, offers, and pre-employment requirements with HR and the appropriate hiring leader.
- Track candidates throughout the recruiting process and ensure qualified candidates do not become stalled or lost due to lack of follow-up.
- Maintain accurate recruiting records and statistics and identify positions, disciplines, locations, or stages of the hiring process requiring additional attention.
University & Talent Pipeline Development
- Establish and maintain relationships with colleges and universities that educate OT, PT, Speech, OTA, PTA, and SLPA candidates.
- Develop relationships with program directors, faculty, clinical education coordinators, career services departments, and student organizations as appropriate.
- Maintain an organized database of university contacts, programs, recruiting opportunities, career fairs, graduation cycles, and follow-up activities.
- Develop and maintain an annual university recruitment calendar based on graduation dates, career fairs, student events, and anticipated Believe Therapies staffing needs.
- Represent Believe Therapies at appropriate university career fairs, recruiting events, presentations, and other talent-development opportunities.
- Work with clinical leadership to identify appropriate opportunities to introduce students and new graduates to Believe Therapies.
- Develop long-term talent pipelines so university relationships result in qualified applicants and hires rather than functioning solely as outreach activities.
- Track the effectiveness of university relationships and recruiting activities.
- Develop long-term talent pipelines by introducing high school students to careers in Speech-Language Pathology (ST), Occupational Therapy (OT), and Physical Therapy (PT) before college by establishing relationships with local high schools and attending relevant career-related events.
Employee Retention & Engagement
- Work under the direction of the HR Administrator to monitor employee retention and identify trends that may affect turnover.
- Track retention and turnover data and assist in identifying patterns by position, discipline, location, tenure, or other relevant factors.
- Participate in appropriate employee check-ins, stay interviews, onboarding follow-up, and other retention activities as directed by the HR Administrator.
- Gather employee feedback and communicate meaningful themes or concerns to the HR Administrator without assuming responsibility for matters requiring HR investigation or management action.
- Assist in developing initiatives that strengthen employee connection, recognition, professional growth, and engagement.
- Coordinate appropriate recognition of employee accomplishments, anniversaries, professional achievements, promotions, certifications, and other milestones.
- Monitor early turnover and work with the HR Administrator and appropriate leaders to identify opportunities to improve retention.
Culture, Staff & Client Success Content
- Continually ask and actively seek the answer to: “What is happening at Believe Therapies that shows a great therapist why they would want to work here?” Use the answer to identify authentic recruiting, retention, and culture stories.
- Proactively identify and capture stories that demonstrate the culture, people, and impact of Believe Therapies.
- Showcase employee accomplishments, professional growth, certifications, anniversaries, promotions, team activities, and other meaningful staff achievements.
- Coordinate with clinical teams to identify and celebrate client milestones and successful graduations from therapy as examples of both client success and the work of Believe Therapies' therapists.
- Develop a consistent pipeline of authentic photos, short-form videos, employee spotlights, client success stories, recruiting content, and other material appropriate for Believe Therapies' social media and digital platforms.
- Interview or work with employees to develop content that communicates what it is like to work at Believe Therapies and why employees choose to build their careers with the organization.
- Capture appropriate content during clinic activities, recruiting events, university visits, celebrations, and other opportunities that reflect Believe Therapies' culture.
- Prepare and organize content for social media use, including photos, videos, story concepts, captions, or supporting information, while coordinating with the individual responsible for publishing and managing Believe Therapies' social media accounts.
- Maintain an organized content calendar or content bank so recruiting and culture-related material is consistently available rather than created only when needed.
- Ensure all client-related content has appropriate authorization and follows Believe Therapies' privacy, HIPAA, consent, and company requirements before it is submitted for publication.
- Ensure content accurately and authentically represents the employee and client experience at Believe Therapies and supports the company's recruiting and retention objectives.
HR Support
- Work closely with the HR Administrator throughout recruiting, hiring, onboarding, retention, and employee-engagement activities.
- Ensure recruiting and candidate activities comply with established company policies and HR procedures.
- Maintain appropriate confidentiality of applicant and employee information.
- Assist with onboarding coordination and help ensure a smooth transition from candidate to new employee.
- Provide recruiting and retention information needed for HR planning and staffing decisions.
- Escalate employee-relations, performance, policy, compensation, compliance, or other HR matters outside the authority of the position to the HR Administrator.
- Perform other duties consistent with the position and Believe Therapies' mission as requested.
SKILLS NEEDED
Must be outgoing, professional, organized, highly relationship-oriented, and comfortable initiating relationships rather than waiting for candidates to come to Believe Therapies. Must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication, strong follow-through, attention to detail, effective time management, creativity, and confidence communicating with professionals at all levels. Must be comfortable capturing photos and short-form video and developing authentic story ideas for recruiting and culture content. Must be able to manage multiple candidates and activities simultaneously, work by statistics, recognize declining production, and take appropriate action or communicate the need for support.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree in Human Resources, Business, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
- Recruiting, talent acquisition, HR, healthcare, or relationship-development experience preferred.
- Experience recruiting healthcare professionals strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Speech-Language Pathology professions, or the ability to develop a working knowledge of these disciplines.
- Experience developing university or professional-school relationships preferred.
- Strong computer skills and ability to effectively use applicant tracking, HR, and Google systems.
- Ability to create and organize basic photo, video, and written content for use by the person responsible for Believe Therapies' social media publishing.
- Ability to travel for university recruiting and other approved recruiting activities as needed.
