About this Role – Talent Acquisition Specialist
We are looking for a talented Talent Acquisition Specialist that has a passion for quality construction. This position is responsible partnering with hiring managers and business leaders to attract, engage, and hire top talent across the organization. This role manages the full recruitment lifecycle, supports workforce planning initiatives, enhances the candidate experience, and helps build talent pipelines to meet current and future hiring needs.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and execute effective sourcing and recruiting strategies to attract qualified candidates.
- Manage the full recruitment life cycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, offer preparation, and pre-employment processes.
- Publish and maintain job postings across career sites, job boards, social media platforms, and professional networks.
- Source candidates through Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), networking, referrals, social media, industry events, and direct outreach.
- Conduct phone screens and interviews to evaluate candidates' experience, skills, competencies, and cultural alignment.
- Coordinate and facilitate interview scheduling and candidate communications.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical and recurring positions.
- Partner with hiring managers to ensure timely hiring decisions and a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Assist the talent and development team with the company’s Internship and Co-op programs
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, position requirements, workforce plans, and hiring priorities.
- Provide support for other Human Resources functions and special projects as assigned.
What You’ll Bring
- Strong knowledge of full-cycle recruiting practices and sourcing strategies.
- Ability to build strong relationships and credibility with hiring managers, candidates, and business leaders.
- Excellent interviewing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities simultaneously.
- High level of discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism.
- Working knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), HRIS platforms, and recruiting technologies.
- Ability to analyze recruiting data and make data-driven recommendations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and related business applications.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- Recruiting/Sales/Marketing background highly desired
- 2-5 years of experience
- Ability to travel occasionally to regional offices, career fairs, recruiting events, and educational institutions.
