What will you do?

  • Develop and execute proactive recruitment strategies to attract top talent across a variety of roles and regions.
  • Source and engage both active and passive candidates through networking, referrals, social media, and direct outreach.
  • Screen resumes, conduct candidate assessments and competency-based interviews, and present qualified candidate shortlists to hiring leaders.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and provide consultative recruitment support and market insights.
  • Create and maintain screening criteria, interview guides, and candidate evaluation frameworks.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
  • Stay current on recruitment trends, labour market conditions, and innovative sourcing strategies.
  • Track recruitment metrics, including sourcing effectiveness and time-to-fill, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Support employer branding initiatives, special projects, and other talent acquisition programs as required.

What do you bring?

  • Post-secondary education or equivalent combination of education and recruitment experience.
  • 2-5 years of recruitment, talent acquisition, or sourcing experience.
  • Experience recruiting in high-volume environments; skilled trades recruiting experience is considered an asset.
  • Proven success managing multiple requisitions and meeting hiring targets.
  • Strong sourcing skills, including the use of LinkedIn, Indeed, social media, and other recruitment tools.
  • Knowledge of Boolean search techniques and talent-mapping strategies is an asset.
  • Strong relationship-building, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data to drive hiring decisions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and applicant tracking systems.
