Talent Acquisition Specialist

DESCRIPTION

Contract Role Responsibilities

Review applications to ensure a candidate's background, experience and/or

education align with the minimum qualifications of the role. Conduct additional

screening as applicable, initiate background checks, prepare pay models,

generate, and extend offers

Assessment of candidates will be conducted via phone screening, formal resume

submittals from job postings

Engage with hiring managers to ensure pipeline candidates align with

qualifications and needs of the department and its opening(s)

Scope of Work Expectation

20+ active postings across multiple site locations

30+ vacancies (Reqs) without assigned/identified candidates

15+ Different position titles / 15+ Different hiring managers

15 + Different HR Generalists

QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements

High School diploma or GED and six (6) years of Talent Acquisition/Human

Resources-related experience; OR

Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of Talent Acquisition /Human Resources-

related experience

Employment law principles as they apply to recruiting/hiring practices

Ability to pivot and support thirty (30) multi-discipline vacancies, and engage with

varying hiring managers and HR staff members

Knowledge of common recruitment processes, procedures, and sourcing

techniques

Preferred Qualifications

Full-cycle recruitment / agency recruiting experience. Multiple discipline

experience: Skilled Trades and/or Engineering and/or Professional recruitment

Additional Details

Candidate needs to be highly organized and attentive to details

Proficient with technology, business and applicant tracking systems

Must be able to multi-task, reprioritize based on urgency of business needs and

work well in a deadline driven environment

Strong interpersonal skills

Mining or energy/oil/gas background is a plus!
