Job Summary

Attract, engage and hire candidates across the organization, from entry-level manufacturing to leadership roles.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting activities for positions across the organization, from requisition intake to onboarding.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, define job requirements and develop recruiting strategies.
  • Create and maintain job postings and recruitment materials that accurately reflect position requirements and promote Wenthe-Davidson as an employer of choice.
  • Source, screen, and evaluate candidates through online job boards, referrals, social media, community partnerships, recruiting events, and other talent pipelines.
  • Conduct phone interviews, assess candidate qualifications, coordinate hiring manager interviews, and provide timely updates to candidates and internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate candidate, requisition, and recruiting activity records in the HRIS.
  • Support compliant hiring practices by maintaining appropriate documentation, applying consistent processes, and following applicable employment laws and company policies.
  • Maintain regular communication with candidates from initial contact through onboarding to support a positive candidate experience and transition into the organization.
  • Develop and maintain pipelines of qualified candidates for current and future openings, including entry-level manufacturing, office, technical, and leadership roles.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local high schools, technical colleges, workforce development organizations, community partners, and recruiting vendors to support talent attraction.
  • Support employer branding and recruitment marketing efforts, including helping maintain Wenthe-Davidson’s social media presence and promoting career opportunities.
  • Track recruiting metrics, prepare reports as needed, monitor hiring trends, and identify opportunities to improve recruiting efficiency, effectiveness, and candidate flow.
  • Support Wenthe-Davidson’s mission, vision, and values, as well as departmental goals, objectives, and HR initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in human resources, business, or related field preferred.
  • 3 years of progressive human resource experience, including 2 years of full-cycle recruitment in a manufacturing environment.
  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Experience working in an integrated Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) with recruitment functionality.
  • Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws, as well as an understanding of compensation practices involved in recruitment.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with colleagues at various levels of the organization.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to maintain composure in stressful or challenging situations.
  • Ability to work with sensitive data and maintain strict confidentiality.
