Overview
MasTec Industrial is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist I or II to help attract, engage, and hire the skilled professionals who power complex industrial construction projects across North America. In this role, you'll partner closely with operations leaders to anticipate workforce needs, solve hiring challenges, and build talent pipelines that support both today's projects and tomorrow's growth.
This is a true full-cycle recruiting role with the opportunity to recruit for a diverse range of positions, including project engineers, field engineers, schedulers, estimators, project controls professionals, operations support staff, and construction leadership roles. No two days are the same, and success requires the ability to shift priorities, adapt quickly, and remain focused on delivering results.

Location & Travel Details: This is a remote position, which can be located anywhere in the continental United States. Must be able to work within regular business hours Monday-Friday between 7am-6pm of the applicable time zone. We offer all IT equipment, including a work cell phone or cell phone reimbursement.

Responsibilities
- Partner with hiring managers as a trusted talent advisor, providing guidance on hiring strategies, candidate evaluation, and recruitment best practices.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for exempt and non-exempt positions, from sourcing and screening through offer acceptance and onboarding.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs across a variety of construction, operations, and support functions.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies using networking, referrals, social media, job boards, talent communities, and other recruiting channels.
- Deliver an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience while driving timely hiring decisions and results.
- Maintain accurate candidate records, recruitment activities, and hiring documentation within the applicant tracking system.
- Identify opportunities to improve hiring processes, recruitment tools, and manager effectiveness through training and coaching.
- Support diversity, equal employment opportunity, and affirmative action initiatives throughout the recruitment process.
- Participate in recruiting projects, hiring events, workforce planning activities, and other talent acquisition initiatives.
Qualifications
Qualifications & Compensation (Talent Acquisition Specialist I)
- Minimum of 1 year recruiting experience is required, construction or related industry experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Ability to travel up to 10%, for career fair and other recruiting efforts may be required.
- Compensation $65,000-$85,000 / year, commensurate with experience
Qualifications & Compensation (Talent Acquisition Specialist II)
- Minimum of 3 years recruiting experience with at least 1 year in construction preferred
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Ability to travel up to 10%, for career fair and other recruiting efforts may be required.
- Compensation $75,000-$95,000 / year, commensurate with experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of EEO, OFCCP, and employment law compliance.
- Experience sourcing talent through job boards, social media, networking, and internet research.
- Experience with iCIMS or other applicant tracking systems preferred.
- Strong relationship-building and consultative communication skills.
- Ability to influence, coach, and partner with hiring leaders.

- Ability to build credibility with candidates, hiring teams, and senior leaders.
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Skilled in sourcing strategy, candidate engagement, and talent attraction.
- Strong organization, time management, and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based recruiting tools.
