Summary

The Talent Acquisition Intern supports our talent acquisition team in identifying top talent for skilled trades and corporate positions. As a Talent Acquisition Intern, you will partner with our recruiting team to source qualified candidates for hard-to-fill positions across the HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing industries, as well as select corporate roles. You'll play an important role in building candidate pipelines and helping connect skilled professionals with career opportunities. You will also assist with sourcing recruiting events, developing technical school partnerships, and help organize on-site hiring events.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Source qualified candidates using the company's Applicant Tracking System (ATS) Clear Company, Indeed, LinkedIn, and other recruiting platforms.
  • Identify and engage licensed HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing technicians for hard-to-fill field positions.
  • Source candidates for specialized corporate and professional roles.
  • Build and maintain candidate pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
  • Review resumes and identify candidates who meet job qualifications and licensing requirements.
  • Conduct targeted searches using Boolean search techniques and recruiting best practices.
  • Attend weekly Talent Acquisition team meetings to review hiring priorities, sourcing strategies, and recruiting progress.
  • Assist in planning, coordinating, and promoting career fairs and recruiting events.
  • Help establish and maintain partnerships with technical schools, trade schools, and workforce development organizations to build talent pipelines.
  • Coordinate and support in-house hiring events, including scheduling, candidate communications, event logistics, and follow-up activities.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and sourcing activity within the Applicant Tracking System.
  • Support employer branding and other Talent Acquisition initiatives as needed.
  • Assist recruiters with additional recruiting projects and administrative tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, Psychology, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not required).
  • Strong interest in recruiting, talent acquisition, human resources, or employer branding.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Comfortable learning new recruiting technologies and sourcing tools.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with a team.
  • Experience with LinkedIn, Indeed, Applicant Tracking Systems, or event planning is a plus but not required.
