As part of PAR Systems, Jered is looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist who is excited to help build the skilled workforce behind our manufacturing and field service operations. With a strong focus on hourly manufacturing and skilled trades recruiting, you'll help us find talented welders, fabricators, machinists, assemblers, and field service professionals who contribute to the complex engineered solutions we deliver to our customers.

This is an onsite position based at our Brunswick, Georgia facility, supporting recruiting needs across our manufacturing operations in Brunswick, GA, and Portsmouth, VA, as well as our remote field service locations. You'll work closely with leaders across these teams, gaining firsthand insight into their operations and building the relationships needed to attract and hire great talent. Travel of up to 35% may be required at times to support recruiting activities, hiring initiatives, and business partnerships across locations.

Our continued growth depends on having great people with the right skills and finding them takes more than posting a job and waiting for applications. We need a resourceful, curious, and relationship-driven recruiter who enjoys getting out into the business, learning what makes our teams successful, and finding new ways to attract great talent.

Success Criteria

Bringing a talent-seeking mindset and a genuine interest in manufacturing, you'll help grow the skilled trades and production teams that are essential to Jered's success. We don't view recruiting as a factory assembly line. It's one of our company's most important efforts, one that is collaborative, relationship-driven, and, above all, human. You'll help us find the people whose craftsmanship, technical skills, and commitment to quality make our work possible.

Building strong relationships is at the core of who we are. You'll develop meaningful connections with candidates, production supervisors, hiring managers, and other business partners. By spending time understanding our manufacturing operations, the skills required for different roles, and the challenges of the local labor market, you'll become a trusted recruiting partner who helps our teams make informed hiring decisions. You'll balance the urgency of filling open positions with the importance of finding people who can succeed and grow with Jered.

Great manufacturing talent isn't always actively looking for a new opportunity. Your creativity and persistence will help you reach skilled welders, fabricators, machinists, and other production professionals through job boards, referrals, local networks, technical schools, community partnerships, and direct outreach. You'll look beyond traditional resumes and job titles to recognize transferable skills, relevant hands-on experience, and the potential for someone to succeed in our manufacturing environment.

Your curiosity and willingness to learn the work behind our products will set you apart. You don't need to be a welding or manufacturing expert, but you'll be eager to understand different processes, equipment, certifications, and technical skills so you can have credible conversations with candidates and hiring managers. Whether you're recruiting an experienced welder or someone earlier in their manufacturing career, you'll help candidates understand the work, our expectations, and what makes Jered a compelling place to build a career.

Candidate experience matters, especially in a competitive skilled labor market. You'll be one of the first impressions candidates have of Jered, helping them navigate the hiring process with clear communication, timely follow-up, and an authentic understanding of the opportunities available. You'll recognize that many hourly candidates have different schedules, availability, and communication preferences, and you'll adapt your approach to make the recruiting process accessible, responsive, and engaging.

Recruiting is both an art and a science, and execution matters. You'll manage full-cycle recruiting activities, from sourcing and screening through interview coordination, selection, and offer. You'll balance multiple openings, changing production priorities, and time-sensitive hiring needs while keeping candidates and hiring managers informed. Your organization, initiative, and attention to detail will help ensure a consistent and efficient hiring process.

You'll also bring a continuous-improvement mindset to how we attract and hire talent. By staying connected to the local labor market, tracking recruiting activity and results, and listening to feedback from candidates and hiring managers, you'll help identify opportunities to strengthen our sourcing strategies, improve hiring processes, and build sustainable talent pipelines. You'll be willing to try new approaches and leverage technology, including AI, to make recruiting more effective without losing the personal connections that matter.
