As the Talent Acquisition Specialist supporting Western Canada, you’ll play a key role in attracting, screening, and hiring top talent across a variety of roles, from pharmacy operations and clinical positions to support and leadership roles. You’ll partner closely with managers, understand workforce needs, and deliver a seamless and positive experience for every candidate.

Role Accountabilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for roles within the Western region, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selecting candidates
  • Develop strong partnerships with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and workforce planning
  • Build pipelines of qualified candidates through proactive sourcing, networking, and community outreach
  • Identify opportunities to build a social media presence and become the go to SME for external pharmacy candidates.
  • Work closely with HRBP’s to ensure thoughtful communication is transpiring.
  • Craft compelling job postings and ensure consistent employer branding
  • Support candidates throughout the hiring process with timely, professional communication
  • Use ATS/HRIS systems to track candidates, update job postings, and maintain accurate documentation
  • Participate in hiring events, job fairs, and local recruitment initiatives
  • Identify opportunities to improve recruiting processes and enhance the overall candidate experience
  • Assist with onboarding coordination to ensure a seamless transition for new hires

What You Will Bring to The Team

  • 3+ years of recruitment or talent acquisition experience (healthcare or pharmacy environments are a strong asset)
  • Diploma in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred
  • Experience supporting high-volume and multi-province recruitment with the ability to understand the business and provide solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple demands, shifting priorities in a large, fast-paced and changing environment
  • Proven track record of leveraging social media as a strategic recruitment tool
  • Strong communication, influencing, innovation, project management and collaboration skills

  • Strong work ethic and strong sense of ownership and confidentiality
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple requisitions with ease
  • A proactive, resourceful, and solution-oriented mindset
  • Familiarity with ATS systems and Microsoft Office tools
