Based in Chicago with advisors across the U.S., we operate as a registered investment advisor (RIA).
Your Future Team
You will join a collaborative Talent Acquisition team dedicated to supporting Hightower’s national hiring needs. Reporting directly to the Talent Acquisition Manager, this role will support the Talent Acquisition team by partnering closely with Senior Talent Acquisition Specialists to help fill open positions across the organization.
This is a four month contract opportunity designed to provide additional recruiting support during a period of growth and hiring activity.
What You’ll Do
The Sourcer will be responsible for building candidate pipelines, conducting proactive outreach, identifying qualified talent, and helping drive hiring activity for a variety of corporate and advisor-facing roles.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies to identify qualified candidates across multiple business functions
- Utilize LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals, networking, and other sourcing tools to build robust candidate pipelines
- Conduct outreach to passive candidates and generate interest in Hightower opportunities
- Partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to understand hiring needs and target candidate profiles
- Perform initial candidate outreach and screening conversations to assess qualifications and interest
- Create and maintain talent maps and candidate pipelines for current and future hiring needs
- Track candidate activity and maintain accurate records within the applicant tracking system
- Provide market intelligence regarding talent availability, compensation trends, and competitor activity
- Ensure a positive candidate experience through professional and timely communication
- Assist with ad hoc recruiting projects and process improvement initiatives as needed
What You’ll Bring
- 2+ years of sourcing, recruiting, talent acquisition, or staffing experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Demonstrated success identifying and engaging passive candidates
- Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools
- Strong Boolean search and talent research capabilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a distributed team
- Experience supporting financial services, professional services, or corporate hiring is a plus
